Ok. With ONE song left in The World Ep. Fin : Will album, NOW we can confidently say that YES, this album is THE craziest album from ATEEZ we've heard. Period. And mind you we ARE going through ATEEZ's entire discography over at our patreon page, so it's not like we've heard one or two albums from them.
WOW. And what a way to end the subunit marathon. Jongho delivered one of the most emotional pieces from this album and he killed it with his vocal skills. We talk about everything in the video so we'll keep this one short but he is a singing god. A ballad piece to stand side by side with MATZ, IT's You, and Youth, and it does not seem out of place or weak at ALL. If anything, this song goes harder.

ikrrr of course jongho is well-known for his spectacular high notes. but not all people know and appreciate his low registers (which he really actually masters those perfectly because MY HARIBO HAS GREAT SKILLS). jongho is one of the k-pop vocal representatives that has a wide range!

I almost hate watching anything from him when he’s doing ballads since I always end up bawling. Just hits you in all the feels since he is just sooo good. 😭❤

I would recommend checking out Jongho's solo Gravity (from Reborn Rich OST), it's an amazing song and shows his softer vocals as well! And Mayfly Vocal team's performance from Kingdom where he collabed with Eunkwang and Seungmin for Love Poem.
His favorite songs to sing are ballads. He says he really likes how you have to have control to sing about it. Also, you want to check out a really good video clip of him, singing a slow song on immortal songs 2

That thing about Korean norebang culture is hilarious, I've never been to karaoke with friends before but imagining a bunch of guys huddled in a small dark room trying to outsing each other in sad ballads is so funny.

Immortal songs two he sings the song show you you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it and please put it on UA-cam so I can watch it. I would love to see your reaction to that because in one part, he sings ocapella beautiful I’m telling you that part gave me tears in my eyes and shivers up my neck and my arm.
I understand the feeling about Jongho, he always makes me cry TT I think he has the ability to transmit all the feeling while singing, that is, not only is he an incredible singer with an angelic voice but he is also a good performer and that makes the difference

Jongho's OST covers, his New Jeans cover (Ditto) duet with Maddox, and his own OSTs Gravity and Wind are all ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE showcases of his voice and range. He is an amazing powerhouse with ATEEZ, but he really gets to flex more emotion and delicacy in these songs.
Jongho sings like a man much older than he is, with life experiences he hasn't actually had. He is an incredible artist. ❤

the guys looked like they were having an out of body experience throughout this one and I can't blame them, nothing can ever prepare you to listen to this song for the first time.
As a jongho simp and ballad lover I would definitely say this is my favourite song out of the units, something about his voice makes me want to smash my head against a wall (in a good, safe, totally not harmful way)

But the one that, to me, shows off the softest, gentlest Jongho vocals while at the same time able to do things to my heart (ie. Dissolve it into a mess) is the cover of an OST, Kim Na Young's There for You (from Our Beloved Summer drama OST). It has the same message as Everything - the regrets after a failed relationship. I'd also recommend checking out the cover he and Maddox did of Ditto - it's SPECTACULAR. Also his appearance on Lee Mujin. That has a really nice variety of his singing skills, and their chemistry is really cute.
My favorite sub-unit song is Youth but Everything is definitely tied as second with IT's You. Even though the video for everything depicts a break up with a girl, Jongho has said the "everything" he's singing about could be anything to the listener. It could be a person, an unfulfilled dream, etc... and that honestly makes the song 10x better for me.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of ballads, Everything is my favourite. It made me cry the first time I listened to it, even though I couldn't see the lyrics & I don't speak Korean. That's how emotional his singing is.

i really enjoyed this reaction, it was really calming to have this playing whilst doing a chore i don’t really feel like doing. my favourite song from the sub units is youth, i do adore and enjoy all of the songs but youth really touches my heart. the message of it, the beautiful music video and the chemistry of yunho and mingi. everything is also very close to being my favourite song, i don’t relate to it as much as youth but i get filled with so much pride listening to jongho’s song. it feels like a magical song, the showcase of the delicate parts of his voice is truly beautiful. i feel like a main character listening to it.
