If you are going to play the 50-50 formation, you would need to equip your all officers with LRA, MRA and melee HP. Don't use LRE and MRE. Furthermore, as you have a decent amount of mid rangers, you would need to have more melee to protect them. The second battle shows both my points.
This is s great comment. Putting another attack instead of expert compensates for damage loss. And while you still lose stats, it is compensated by the fact that you will have more highest tier units overall, since you get to pick highest ones available from both mid and front. And the build makes you more versatile. You are still a soft counter to LR. You can join group attacks with long range units only and perform well. And your zombies are more effective compared to purely LR players. The biggest problem of this build is that it makes Eric and Cattie breakthrough skill less effective. If not for that, I would be willing to try.
Yeah so with T10 troops if you have a choice between filling with snipers or rockets I tend to use rockets. Now that I am on t11 troops I usually fill with the t10 EMP cannons
I lost about 200m damage per hit on mother of doom from the previous week. It doesn't feel apples to apples the same but I can feel it in the mines when I have massive losses against weak cities

Still not convinced it's worth it though. I still think just rolling a pure lra or mra build is better

But one of your previous videos didn’t you suggest filling in with some rockets in certain places?
Granted that doesn’t mean your 50/50, but isn’t there value in boosting your midrange attack and adding in some rockets to use their special effect?
