I have not bought cleaning supplies in years for the kitchen; I use lemon+water and most times just water and cloth to clean kitchen. For bathroom, I have been using cleaning products for toilet 🚽 and bathtub but I am planning to switch to non-chemical cleaners like lemon, vinegar in coming months. Once every 3 months - cleaning with store bought products should be ok if concern of infections. I have been using it minimally and so far have not had any issues.
I have seen that video too and I think he inflated the community feeling of India a bit too much. Some of us in fact want to stay away from societal and community pressures and hence prefer staying away. Sometimes Indian communities have excessive expectations of conforming to the norms of the society, and if you are slightly different and want to progress differently, groups of acquaintances appear out of nowhere with unsolicited advice. Plus with WhatsApp and Zoom these days you can be connected to loved ones from anywhere and one can visit India anytime, long flights are quite common for working people. Moreover, American education is top-notch, having studied in 3 countries in the world, including India, I think American education, especially college and university-level education is way ahead of most other countries (not just India), even to this date. It doesn't make sense for you to go back to India now when your daughter is almost about to enter university, especially when you have green cards. She will have a shining future here. People who don't have green cards can go back because yes, it is truly difficult to constantly renew visas and live on the edge of children reaching the age of 21 and then going back to India, it is too complex. But because you have green cards and Rai is so bright and does well in school, why would you go back!
It's not wise to say if you think a lot nothing gets done, depending on the situation you have to think and take decisions. Sometimes not doing something is also a decision you have taken unconsciously
Well said about pursuit of happiness ..same goes for me too ...right now i am in india ..i feel same what u said ... i feel like going back to US that is my pursuit of happiness becoz all work gets done by technology. Hi payal di how are you please di don't use plastic bottles for water storage it's not good for health use glass or steel water dispenser it's more hygienic.
Never use the tea bags like that in Chole to boil becoz it's made of plastic so either put in cloth potli or yu get a metal thing where yu can fill with tea leaves or garam masala whole in it
