I am making a completely dry and "ready to mix" clay + herb face mask to fill a 4 oz jar, what is the recommended ratio of clays to herbal powders (for professional formulation) ? I want to make sure when the client mixes their wet ingredients that they get a balanced result. thank you for your opinion on this! 😊
Love your knowledge of natural homemade recipes. Did you know that Bentonite Clay makes a great hair conditioner? Mix with apple cider vinegar into a paste, apply to freshly washed hair, leave for 10/15 mins rinse and it will you get beautifully defined curls on natural/ afro hair. 29.4.2020

Hello...I find Bentonite Clay the hardest clay to mix smooth. I have tried many things. How are you getting it to mix up so quickly and smooth with so little liquid. Thank you for any input.

Ooh I know what you mean, it looks like a yellow bath bomb exploded in your sink! 😭 A neat hack is to remove the bulk of it with a makeup wipe first, and then wash your face - that way you don't have to deal with most of the turmeric staining everything. Aww, thanks for watching 😊

What can you use to preserve these masks?
Hi, I would recommend making these fresh or maybe just storing the pre-mixed dry ingredients rather than the whole liquid as the natural ingredients can loose potency over time. But you can just mix in a normal preservative once you've made the mask 😊

Probably until it dries completely. Then rinse and use a good moisturizer. 😮

Hey I've been using bentonite clay for masks for a long time, but over time like 2-3 weeks if grows mould, do you know why?
If you're using water or aloe vera it can develop mold if you don't use a Perservative. After a week, without a Perservative, your mixture is already starting to grow mold even with refrigeration but may be undetected. Vit E is not a preservative. Some DIY channels tell you it is, which is why I mentioned it. It's an antioxidant. So research Perservatives to help extend life. Be careful to test the PH level of your product to help select the best one. Or simply use Apple cider vinegar in place of water and add honey as an emollient. Again checking PH level because you are applying this to your face.

i usually store mine in a closed jar, one that screws on for about a week and then renew
How often can one use these, especially the one with vinegar? Can I use it day and night or once a day, daily until my acne scars clears? Does it sting your eyes when using it? It does and I have to keep my eyes closed throughout 😂

Please stop using metal to mix your bentonite clay you’re defeating the whole purpose of the mask. It zaps it of all of its benefits. Never use metal bentonite with clay.
