Would love to see him and Nwanieri get some game time next season.

He is still in the u18 and only 16 where he is a physically dominant. If he does the same for the reserves and u21s then he can get called up to the first team.

Looks like a talent but difficult to assess his true level until he plays against players of his own physicality. Seen plenty of 'wonderkids' to know a good proportion never make it. Max Dowman's style of play appears more sustainable and transferable to a higher level. Going to withhold judging Chido

The only sensible comment here, people think he is just going to be banging in goals like Henry. The guy does miss a fair amount of chances

I like this a lot. I do feel like the physical transition from u18 to 21s won’t be too much for him to handle but it will effect him enough to were he knows he can’t rely on his physical dominance which will help him improve things like his link up play, IQ, releasing the ball quicker and off the ball movement helping him become a better and more complete player

@@Jes_8 So imagine him learning those qualities at age 16/17 while with the u21. He might force the club to issue out a loan spell for him to get first team experience.

Chido is a very good player with bags of potential and is already too good for the 18s even tho he’s an u16. I feel like over the next 2 seasons he will be the main striker for the 21s and I’m pretty sure that’s arsenals plan with him too. He might get a couple first team chances as a first year scholar but I think as a 2nd year we will see him get a few/multiple opportunities with the first team. Depending on how well he develops and if he stays injury free, when he is 18/19 I see him either being part of the first team with a sporadic role or he will be out on loan getting a lot of minutes at a good level. This guy can be an established Arsenal player in the next 5-6 years. Wish him the best.

Chido's current Arsenal u16's team, have some other players coming through under the radar. Their game intelligence is elite.
Just waiting for their physical maturation to kick in when their progression will be supercharged.
I would like to hear your opinion on those players, such as Ife Ibrahim & Andre.

I think Arsenal should show all the Arsenal youth matches and let us see their progressions through the years.

Arteta will regret losing Ruell-Walter's & Nwanneri for free for a lack of progression. Those guys could walk into a Brighton or even male a klopp team because they are so good.

I get what you're saying. He hasn't given many academy players a shot. To be fair, though, his talent identification has been excellent. Almost all of the signings and young players he has given significant minutes have proved to be quality. I think the past academy guys from the 2019-2022 just weren't good enough. Look around. It's not as if they have become stars elsewhere. Nwaneri will play. He just signed a new Arsenal contract weeks ago.

No they would not "walk" into Brightons or Liverpool's team 😂, that's a disrespect to all those players at those clubs. The only reason why Liverpool has all those young players playing is because of tons of injuries. The only reason man city has pressed forward with the young players is because they need that English quota.
Hopefully Walters will get a good loan at a foreign club or championship. Nwari needs another season training with the men in the first team to grow and learn.
My only gripe with Arteta is that he does not give some of the young players more of a run out in league cup games.

@@TGFLdn24 how many top level games did Lamine Yamal or Cubarsi play before playing first team in Barca? How many games did Trent Play before playing in the first team?
How many games did Evan Fergusen play before getting into Brightons first team? Arteta had qualified for the next round of the UCL and still chose not to play any of the academy kids. Arteta is obsessed with experienced players.
