i loved rubix musicality more. beacause he changes the tempo and dance to different instrumentals every 10 seconds, and its so cool. I used to see larry fast dance
I like how rubix has become more patient and mature with his movements and stays true to himself and his style. But he had almost a non-chalant approach as if he was against an ordinary opponent. Larry went all guns blazing and was really in the music. Recently his style has become so mechanical that although technically impressive and high calibre, I have not been able to connect to it as much in terms of feeling and the cohesive story of movement. But he was flowing, switching up his rhythms, dynamicly beastly, grooved, ground work etc. This is arguable Larry's best battle round of 2022! It was as if he was saying to rubix, "let me show you that I am still the master, my apprentice." Even Rubix looked defeated - he knew he lost even before Larry's round was over. Edit: after seeing Larry vs Laurent. That battle was off the charts! I have many favs now.
I agree i have been watching les twins for more than 10 years and something has been different in their story telling and passion this year that i havent been able to connect to but none the less they still remain the best in my eyes
