In Katowice actually, Nikof and Airwaks (Solary Players) crashed while rotating and then some of the other Solary players crashed and lagged out for a couple of secs mid rotation as well. Looked like it sucked a ton

It happens sometimes when you switch from controller to keyboard during the game there is no turbo building but you can spam r2 if you want to place walls or your other building binds for the other pieces
I play on playstation and always have my keyboard plugged in and sometimes when I bump my keyboard it locks the input and can't be fixed without restarting the entire game
I can confirm that this bug has been in the game since Season 3 at least. That's when I switched from console to PC. My cat walked all over my keyboard and then I wasn't able to build. Only way to fix it is go to lobby. Can't be done in game. There's an ignore gamepad input option and lock input as mouse, but for us controller PC players, they need a lock to gamepad feature. That way shit like this can't happen mid-game. It is also hilarious that the staff member blamed DS4 Tool. A lot of games only recognize Xbox controllers, DS4 Tool basically simulates an Xbox 360 controller, allowing PS4 controllers. Furthermore, it ALSO allows the DS4 to be wireless (via bluetooth), which is not natively supported on Fortnite. However, DS4 Tool is not responsible for this bug. I thought it was when it first happened, but then I got it multiple times without DS4 Tool. It's Fortnite. Epic Games simply refuses to fix it.
It's accessibility, and NO, this does not fix it. That is not a glitch. That setting is intended to function that way. What Nick experienced is a very common bug where the game has been "tricked" into thinking the input device is KbM. This happens when the mouse/keyboard and gamepad are used at the same time. This has nothing to do with the buttons showing up as KbM. The problem is that the game *thinks* it's KbM, and only going to the lobby or restarting the application can fix it.
Again I hope I can make it to the console top 10 for the tournament Edit: if you want to fix that glitch where it thinks you are keyboard and mouse go to settings and turn off lock input on mouse in accessibility

Do you even know what that feature is for and what this bug is? The bug: Fortnite's engine is tricked into THINKING the player is using KbM. The HARMLESS feature: Allows using controller input and mouse input together, and lacks the input feedback to mouse and keyboard suggestions, rather than having the input methods fights. They added the feature in response to the terrible lag problem that happened when PC controller players would use their mouse mid-game. This feature alone simply shows KbM suggestions (keybinds). It does NOT make your controller not work, and having it off does not fix this bug. I have had it off the entirety of my time playing Fortnite. Most controller players have it off. It doesn't show our button mapping, so we don't use it. Turning off this useless, yet harmless, feature will NOT fix this bug. Please do not spread misinformation.
Idk if fortnite still has the 'feedback' option in their menu but you used to be able to open then close feedback and it would reliably fix any 'Epic' glitches

There's no way to fix the keyboard issue unless u go back to lobby and if it continues to happens u have to restart the application so the only way to build if u in the keyboard glitch is if u play on keyboard and mouse
7:38 if you go to the accessibility settings.(Man with a circle around it.) It will allow you to lock the input method as a keyboard. Turn it off and it should fix it.

I can confirm that this bug has been in the game since Season 3 at least. That's when I switched from console to PC. My cat walked all over my keyboard and then I wasn't able to build. Only way to fix it is go to lobby. Can't be done in game. There's an ignore gamepad input option and lock input as mouse, but for us controller PC players, they need a lock to gamepad feature. That way shit like this can't happen mid-game.
It is also hilarious that the staff member blamed DS4 Tool. A lot of games only recognize Xbox controllers, DS4 Tool basically simulates an Xbox 360 controller, allowing PS4 controllers. Furthermore, it ALSO allows the DS4 to be wireless (via bluetooth), which is not natively supported on Fortnite. However, DS4 Tool is not responsible for this bug. I thought it was when it first happened, but then I got it multiple times without DS4 Tool. It's Fortnite. Epic Games simply refuses to fix it.

1. Go to color blind settings
2. Turn of lock input as mouse
It's accessibility, and NO, this does not fix it. That is not a glitch. That setting is intended to function that way. What Nick experienced is a very common bug where the game has been "tricked" into thinking the input device is KbM. This happens when the mouse/keyboard and gamepad are used at the same time. This has nothing to do with the buttons showing up as KbM. The problem is that the game *thinks* it's KbM, and only going to the lobby or restarting the application can fix it.

That does not fix it. That setting is off by default. No sane person would even have it on.

The bug:
Fortnite's engine is tricked into THINKING the player is using KbM.
The HARMLESS feature:
Allows using controller input and mouse input together, and lacks the input feedback to mouse and keyboard suggestions, rather than having the input methods fights.
They added the feature in response to the terrible lag problem that happened when PC controller players would use their mouse mid-game. This feature alone simply shows KbM suggestions (keybinds). It does NOT make your controller not work, and having it off does not fix this bug. I have had it off the entirety of my time playing Fortnite. Most controller players have it off. It doesn't show our button mapping, so we don't use it.
Turning off this useless, yet harmless, feature will NOT fix this bug. Please do not spread misinformation.

Idk if fortnite still has the 'feedback' option in their menu but you used to be able to open then close feedback and it would reliably fix any 'Epic' glitches

There's no way to fix the keyboard issue unless u go back to lobby and if it continues to happens u have to restart the application so the only way to build if u in the keyboard glitch is if u play on keyboard and mouse
7:38 if you go to the accessibility settings.(Man with a circle around it.) It will allow you to lock the input method as a keyboard. Turn it off and it should fix it.
