Power-consumption per pixel along with the heat generated can and will degrade each OLED pixel over time, and will degrade them more quickly at higher luminosities with correspondingly higher heat output per pixel.
Burn-in issues have really lessened over time as newer generation panels have come out, and Pixio has some great features to reduce the risk even more. Burn-in will probably still happen, but at a much slower rate, so I’m expecting to get a long life out of this monitor
Invest in some testing equipment if you are going to review monitors, especially if you are doing ads disguised as revieww. You need all credibility you can get. I would love to review monitors and assembly get lent or given products to do so. I won’t because I am not willing to invest in what it takes to do that. I also would not want to do fluff reviews.
@@IllGalaxy dude this is an OLED . Withouth proper Anti-Aging / refresh technology and creme of the crop hardware its not worth it. If you are going to spending over $700 go with a reputable brand that will cover burn-in that includes S-Tier technology as far as prevention. Asus is #1 at the moment. Alot of people do not know that without the proper prevention technology within 5 years it will be E-Waste.
@IllGalaxy These monitors are made for gaming. They are not for static work or web browsing. If you are gaming most likely you won't be having static images on screen.
Dude you sound exactly like mos paranoid idiots kissing 💋 up to big corporations for tech security. . If you care so less about this oled product go over to another tech video instead of sitting here complaining on this video
1440p will always be around especially at this size, and is perfectly crisp unless your sitting 6” from a monitor. Plus the price discrepancy between 4K IPS and 1440P IPS makes 4K a very tough sell for most gamers
@@TechRoundUp1440p will be my spot for a very long time , probably for another 8 to 10 yrs , I can’t bring my self to buy 4k and spend a lot on a gpu just to upscale
Thanks for reviewing the product
Low key bro is cracked at Val. OKAY
Does this have ABL? What type of screen coating?
Any thoughts on the ASUS VG27AQL3A it’s at a decent price and I would be getting it for my PS5 and future PC
It’s a great monitor. I have the VG27AQL1A which is the 165hz counterpart and it’s awesome for PS5 or PC gaming
Heat is not the primary cause of burn-in
Power-consumption per pixel along with the heat generated can and will degrade each OLED pixel over time, and will degrade them more quickly at higher luminosities with correspondingly higher heat output per pixel.
@Tecso will the panel become unusable over time?hRoundUp

omg what a monitor
yeah so real this is perfect
If they had a 24 inch 1080p version that would be nice. I like that it has DC power input.
Strobing ? is there an option to do strobing with this monitor?

I love the slim bezel all around. it is GLOSSY screen ?
The screen is matte
not glossy tho...
SO What, Monitor still looks 💯% steller . Get over it
$700 is still too expensive IMO. I personallly don't need something with that much contrast or refresh rate when I only sit like 30 inches away.
How does contract and refresh rate have any correlation to how far you’re sitting from the screen?
It doesn’t.
BURN-IN Guaranteed I'd rather buy from a reputable brand
if you are worried about burn in you shouldent be in the market for a oled.
Why's that?

What's the res? 1440p? Say this early and often. 1440p is dead bro.
Hard disagree. 1440p is amazing for gaming and still looks great at this panel size

1440p is the standard lmao nobody out here casually gaming on 4k buddy
Grow up, bro
