The world needs more artists like you Yann. As a Palestinian and a huge fan of your music, I cannot thank you enough for conducting this piece years ago, and for shooting this video and posting it all over your social media accounts in these critical times. Thank you so much🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸❤️❤️❤️❤️
I doubt you will praise Mr Tiersen if he ever compose a piano 🎹 piece call Israel ! Anyway , music 🎶 🎵 should not carry political leanings. Music should come from the aspirations & beauty of the world we live in . From your heart / your walk in the journey of earth to the creator ‘s ears and to the world .
@@tsunshinegal9102 you’re right, and you know why, because I would never praise an artwork that supports my oppressor and coloniser. Would you ask an African American to praise the KKK? Or a Jew to praise the Nazi? We have been forcibly displaced by them and ethnic cleansing people from their land is still happening now. TODAY in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan. So, pardon me for appreciating Yann’s solidarity with us. Also, what is so wrong with art being reflective and connected to politics? Art has always been a tool to express the most precious things in life, like love and FREEDOM!

Thank you so much for this beautiful music and all your music ..I am a palestinian who is living in Gaza and even during the war I was playing your music on my piano..I can play now 2 pieces of your lovely inspiring music ❤
All respect Yann, I am a huger fan of yours and now I am even huger... hope to be able to attend a concert of yours soon ... as a Palestinian I cannot thank you enough for describing and shout out your voice by music 🎶 ❤️
Yann , I think you are the best composer in the world, ever! I think soo because the song Comptine d'un autre été , made me really try to learn play piano. and all songtrack in the movie Amelie, is so great. please made a movie about how you create that all great songs. grettings from Sweden

After following the awful news for over two weeks I wanted to come back here to this masterpiece and hopefully one day we will be able to see peace in Palestine like the way of Yann is having while performing the art. Viva Palestine
Beautiful piece of music. I once went to see him in concert in the Metro Detroit area in a "not so safe" neighborhood. I got there way early, and went to get a coffee. His entire band was in the diner, and on the way back, I saw Yann, sitting on the ground against a light pole, playing his accordion. Talk about surreal!
@@miladirani4313 Yes! I know he had performed there at least once before, several years before that show. It seems to be interesting for many French people; the history of Detroit and being across the river from Canada. ❤️
Now is sounds sadder than ever...
I discovered this piece by chance 3 days ago. I cant explain why but i cant hold my tears everytime i 've listened to it. Thank you Yann.
