So from a greedy billionaire’s perspective, why WOULD you spend any money on players when you can get fans excited by drafting well and then letting them walk in free agency?

Orioles magic! Feel it happen is right. Listened from game 1 on the radio with the MLB app through my speaker due to TV blackout television restrictions; and O was it worth it. You could feel something different, even through the radio. Reminded me of childhood, what a nostalgic season. See you in Sarasota and beyond, let's bring it home in 24!
Best baseball season I've seen in my life. Finally feels worth it being a fan after the tragic last few years, I've never been more excited for the next baseball season to start
After so many years of tough ones. Being punching bags, the 100 loss seasons, trading away stars for prospects, a huge rebuild. It all paid off. This was one of my favorite years being an O's fan. From a 1% chance to AL East Champions was unbelievable. I got to see them live numerous times and even got to experience my first playoff baseball in Baltimore! What a season it was. This team is here to stay and they will only get better and maybe, just maybe, we can see them make a huge run in the playoffs. I can't wait for 2024 season!
It was an absolute pleasure watching the Orioles this past season. I've watched every game since Adley started, even at shows and concerts. I've believed in Orioles magic since birth, forever my home team.

I’m English and I married my wife last year who comes from a family of Orioles fans. We flew over in the summer and went to one of the games against the dodgers at Camden yards. It was incredible despite the loss. Baseball over my native football any day. Oriole fan for life.

Awesome job by the editors and the social media team. Last year 2023 was so good, I got a signed Anthony taters ball and crying when the orioles clinched a playoff berth when Mateo run from first to home. Can’t wait for opening day on March 30, 2024

I became an orioles fan as a child in the 90s playing little league short stop and loving Cal. Since then it's been a lot of heartbreak, but I appreciate those years more than I can put into words, because it made me fall in love with the team, instead of with winning. I've got friends who are Yankee and Red Sox fans, and it's gotta be mentally taxing to hate and love a team at the same time. For me, it's always love. Thank you boys for every moment of it.

I've been lucky enough to witness the Ravens win 2 (hopefully soon to be 3) Superbowls, but I've always been a bigger O's fan. I hope to be able to see them a World Series in my lifetime. I think this team is the closest we've come since the dismantled 2012/2013 team.Time to really lock it in this year, and go all the way!

I have been an O's fan since 1995-ish and I saw my first O's game live in 1997...I have stood by this team through all of the good, the bad, and the ugly...this year I was hoping to watch my first Orioles World Series because the last time they went and won it was the year I was born...this team has a lot of the components for a multiple year run in the playoffs every year...I love this team and I cannot wait to see the 2024 team
There are so many moments of this season recapped in this video that I can recall exactly where I was/what I was doing as I watched and listened on my phone. The Adam Frazier double to tie the ballgame against the Rays is one of my all time fav baseball moments. As a lifelong O’s fan, not being able to make it to a game (I lived 4 hours from B-more) all season in 2023 is going to be a lifelong heartbreak. Damn I love this team.

The cringe on this comment might be too high for some - trigger warning. Right, I have to express just how special the 2023 season was to me, as I am sure it was to so many others. 2020-2022 was the toughest 3 years of my life. Just as the Covid era was starting to die down, and the mental toll it took, the isolation required...I went and had a heart attack and then needed bypass surgery, which then started about six months worth of recovery. Just as that recovery period was over and I was resuming work full time again, my employer said "due to merging of some departments, youve been made redundant", after a 10 year run and being the senior staff writer of the dept. In spring of 2023, my morale had hit rock bottom. I started finding new hobbies, growing new passions and then thats when I realized - I can follow my Orioles again. See, my previous gig was sportswriter for the Premier League. And with that league, its a 365 day a year job, and you have to operate on UK time, and there just wasn't room to follow other sports. It was the biggest drawback from what was an otherwise dream job -I had to stop following my beloved Birds. So yeah, 2023 rolls around and I realize - my schedule is WIDE OPEN. I started watching games from the jump. And as much as tampa was crushing it in those early weeks, all my eyes could see was an Orioles team with a makeup and a chemistry that just fit right. Everyone had a role and I loved the way Hyde was getting the best out the pieces he had, making sure everyone got to play a role and affirm that there is a reason they are on the roster.
And then, the summer of 2023 played out. So many great games, so many clutch plays, so much hustle, so little fear...its the brand of baseball you live for, and the Os were playing it on a daily basis. It brought me back to the magical age of 12, when I obsessively followed the 1989 Why Not team. There is nothing sweeter than seeing the talent of a team, believing in them when the general public does not, and watch them succeed. 2023 had those moments in spades. I felt like 12 again, and I STILL feel like a kid. A byproduct of Orioles Magic I suppose. Watching this doc, and getting to relive some of those big moments again, as I sit on my hands, rocking back and forth waiting for pitchers and catchers to report...this keeps the hype and the spirit going. Bring on 2024. Come what may. I want the pennant. I know we all want a WS title, and of course I do to. But first thing's first. I want the AL pennant. I dont know what will go down. There have been LEGENDARY teams to win 100 plus games and couldnt repeat it the next season. Its simply a tough task. So, I have to prepare for a record not quite that good this season. Or, maybe they will do even better! All I know is, I believe in Elias, I believe in Hyde, I believe in the chemistry on this squad, I believe they can complete with anyone. I believe we can do it, in spite of the Angelos family. So come what may, 2024 is going to be LIT. LFG!

I was at the game where Bautista got taken out. The tension in the ballpark was so intense. Everyone had their hands on their heads or thighs in anticipation. No one was happy on the way out that night, even though we won that game.

Anyone here after the O's trade for Burnes (and without giving up any of our top5 prospects) AND the news that the Angelos boys are selling the team? Just when i was starting to really lose faith in the team making any real improvements this off-season. It's been a good past couple days in Bmore.
I'm with you. The only issue for the O's will be not having Felix out there this year, but they can always splurge on an elite reliever at the deadline if need be. Now with the new owners and money to spend, I would not be shocked if they did just that. While Corbin Burnes may be the biggest addition in terms of trades and free agency, the biggest one for this team overall is coming from the minors. Boy, I can't wait to see how good Jackson Holliday is once he comes up. He and Gunnar roaming the left side of the infield for a decade along with Adley behind the plate and a strong pitching staff and lineup. The Glory Days of Orioles Magic are BACK!

Love this team. But I’m scared season 2024 with out the veterans we will see how this young team does it was like a perfect balance of talent . I felt like every game last season if the younger guys were playing badly the veterans would pick up the slack and vice versa other times. So it’s scary but hoping we do well again. Go Os

Why no love for Adley Rutschman? Barely mentioned him and the winning attitude, persuasion, and drive that led this Orioles team! No mention of his epic All Star home run derby, or the fact that he is the best catcher in all of baseball and was the main reason for the turn around to winning ways since he joined. A glaring hole in this otherwise entertaining documentary. Could have been a lot better

I’ve been a rangers fan since 2002, but I’ve always liked the orioles since my mother’s always been a fan and I actually attended the cal Ripken camps as a kid. So I’m hoping that the next documentary I see is “2024 Orioles: World Series documentary”. Nice video also
