Ecclesiastes truly is a great book in the Bible. It changed the way I view life. Preachers don't preach much on it. I'd like to hear more preaching on it here.
Love the fog and smoke analogy. Been realizing how often I work so tirelessly to attain some life I dream of, just to stay in the fog. So much time and money spent into dream chasin just to get nowhere. That quote you said of, “the life we pursue, we will not get,” hit home for me too. At the tail end of an experience like that, so this message came at a perfect time. Not sure what the “unto God” thing looks like for me with my hobbies, passions, dreams, but clarity will probably come with time. Can’t wait to hear the next sermon. Appreciate you brotha and miss you dearly.

All this reminded me of the apostle Paul in 1. Corinthians 10:31 "So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God." As you continue to read, the end of v.33 is...."that they may be saved."... Thank you Alex for starting this new series 🤗
I remember when i was very little, I loved to read this book many times, and as i was growing... parts i did not understand then... i later understood... so... always feed ourselves in the word of God, we are always learning something fresh ❤

Amen, great sermon Alex, read Ecclesiastes twice recently and it has so much wisdom and knowledge on how we should live unto God with everything we do
“Surly men of low degree are a vapor,
Men of high degree are a lie;
If they are weighed in the balances,
They are altogether lighter than vapor.”
{Psalm 62:9}
After listening to this sermon this rings louder than before. Glory to Our Lord and Savior.
