【福岡市水道局】世界水泳2023福岡大会＆世界マスターズ水泳2023九州大会におけるPR動画（１分版）

福岡市の水道が始まって100年。
福岡市は大きな河川がなく、たびたび水不足に悩まされました。
そのため、水を大切にするまちづくりに取り組んできました。
その一つが、水道管から漏れる水の割合（漏水率）を限りなく少なくすることです。
24時間体制での流量や水圧管理、漏水防止調査や計画的な水道管更新を行っています。
その結果、福岡市の漏水率の低さは世界トップ。
水を大切にするとともに、日本最大の、海水を真水に変える施設も福岡市の強みです。
水道水をそのまま飲める国は日本を含め、世界で約10か国
福岡市では、厳しい水質検査を行い、安全だけでなく、おいしい水道水を提供
これらのノウハウを活かして、国際協力も積極的に行い、世界でSDGｓが達成されることを目指しています。
福岡市水道局がこれまで培ってきた確かな技術力が、この大会を支えています。
Since the inauguration of Fukuoka City’s Waterworks a century ago, our commitment to safeguarding water has been the cornerstone of our city’s development.
Historically, Fukuoka faced water scarcity due to the absence of large rivers, making the protection of our water resources paramount.
One of our biggest objectives has been to minimize water pipe leakage rates.
Through continuous monitoring of water flow and pressure, rigorous water-leakage prevention measures, and meticulous pipe maintenance, our leakage rate stands among the world's lowest.
We also operate Japan’s largest desalination facility, which helps ensure our ability to secure freshwater.
Japan is one of the select few countries ten or so countries in the world that provide potable tap water.
Here in Fukuoka, we take great pride in delivering tap water that is not only safe but also of the highest quality, thanks to our stringent quality control measures.
Beyond our city, we actively share our expertise on a global scale, contributing to the fulfillment of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
