Yeah this version wasn't that great; song wise. They should have remade it into their own by singing in japanese rather than in engrish. I mean it kept the basis of aneka but it didn't quite surpass the original. Preferably i would rather listen to S.H.E's taiwanese version of the song.
Bad management decisions killed them. The first album was great. A good mix of Japanese and English lyrics, upbeat happy songs suiting these Japanese girls. They changed all of it for the second album. Mostly dark sounding songs, mostly English (like, why do you even have a Japanese group?) and the girls in leather outfits.
