@@phillyyardyvibes808 The biggest advantage is not sacrificing speed for drag n drop of a page builder. They slow down sites so much that you can be left waiting on pages to load. Page builders usually have a lot of "bloat" in their code to make them pretty or to do perform a certain function that those take a toll on page load speeds.
@@phillyyardyvibes808 There isn't really anything wrong with using a template as long as you use one that is specifically for Gutenberg as it won't add any of that unnecessary code or bloat because it only adds Gutenberg blocks. In this video I wanted to show a simple way of putting together your own without worrying about that.
Love seeing what WP can do out of the box now. Am looking forward to seeing more, but have one suggestion. While we do love to see you on the screen, there are a few times during your videos we cannot see what you are trying to show us in the bottom right. Maybe zooming to that spot or moving the window to be able to see exactly what you are clicking on. :)

A good overview of what Gutenberg can do John. There'll be a lot more people looking to move to GB over time, so things like this will help a lot.
Yes, that is my thought as well. I only use Gutenberg now for my affiliate sites. Thanks for watching!
What to do if we want to change the font?

Great tip and I will certainly make that change moving forward.
Is it free or paid
I use Astra and the default Gutenberg editor. Both are free.
Am I Blind? where's the fiver link?
I totally spaced about putting the Fiverr link in there.
