Dude how did u change out the o2 at the back. The connector of those is so tough to take off.
I have the same car. My front two sensors came right off with no problems. My rear ones are so tight, you would think they're welded in place. I don't know if they've ever been changed by the dealer. Nobody else has worked on the car. I can't imagine anybody putting them in that tight.
I know this is old but they could have use some type of Silicone
The sensor screw part is simple. The plastic connector is a pain in the ass
how is this car in terms of reliability?:
I wouldn't vouch for it. There are plenty of other cars with more reliable engines. This car is a pain to fix if anything bad were to happen to the engine. Plus the engines for this car are expensive if you needed one.
@@joshuagandia4579 what are your thoughts on the 4 cylinder models?
I can't speak for the 4 cylinder ones but I will say in this type of dohc engine theres a lot of cheap plastic parts that will break in high mileage cars...i mean even a ford fiesta engine is cheaper to replace than a mazda 6 engine.
This guys Mazda has 200,000 miles and it runs so 🤷🏻♂️
I have an 05 Mazda 6 (owner for 4 years) that drops very little oil every other day, overheated once but I was going up mountains for like an hour and I doubt the previous owner changed the coolant but it’s good now, and it has a knocking sound in low rev range.
My car runs, it sounds nice with a muffler delete, I just think the previous owner treated it like doodoo so it has problems
I mean, I haven't owned this car it's whole life, but it's got 200k and still starts up and runs great. I can tell you that the previous owner (family member) was not good about maintenance so I'd say it's held up very well. It is a pain to work on though.
