The bad label was on the silver, and they swapped it for me. I just got it yesterday. Isnt it incredible? Im going to unite them all, and do a full video on the series tomorrow. The window to start collecting this set is closing, but you are right, its not too late. Somebody coming along in a couple of years, will have a brutal time getting the series. Part of what makes it an attractive buy to me, right now.
I look forward to the video SFVT. I updated the video with a text bubble to reflect my earlier error on the label. Good to hear they swapped it for you without issue - looks like I may have to do the same thing.
Amazing collection, I learned something today which is always fun. At APMEX end of year sale I bought a proof Silver Eagle date of their choice, what I got was the 1995W now I am thinking maybe I should send it out to get graded!!
Imagine what the set will look like when complete? Imagine how few will be able to lay claim to having the full set? Imagine how few will be able to lay claim to a complete set in PR-70? Um, yeah.
Ahh, quit "horsing" around. eheheh Very nice HP. Glad you are on this series and very smart move and a collection from which you can be proud. Beautiful coins. I had to stop at the dragon. I'm glad I got the ungraded one because I get all the original packaging. APMEX didn't send you and Silverfish the boxes to yours.
Very true that we didn't get the original packaging. Instead they give you a special case, but you do get the COA's at least. Glad you got in on the dragon.
Very nice. I thought about this set and the whole series and I'm stuck on one big problem...inflation. It's the rich get richer (and fewer) and the poor gets poorer dilemma. I'm not even sure if I could flip in a tougher market when people are worse off in bigger inflation. All I'm thinking about is building ounces and I see the numis as eating up the budget real fast. But good job on getting three very nice gold coins.
Totally understand. And frankly I would not advocate trying to pick up this series unless someone has a base stack of at least 500 ounces or so of silver.
I really like the series but it is just not for me. I can though absolutely see the potential for great returns, depending on the amount of people with disposable income wanting to purchase the series.
You hit the nail on the head there "wanting to purchase the series". There are thousands of high relief American gold eagle coins that go for a greater premium with the same design each year. Nowhere near as rare, but they cost more. Why? The demand of people wanting to purchase them. Perhaps one day it will be the same for the beautiful Perth mint high relief lunar series.
Funny stuff - nice comment. Although some people do mistake false idols for just statues or worshiped characters, etc but really anything that has a higher priority in our lives than God could be a false idol.

These are stunning coins! You guys are some extreme collectors! Congrats
Thanks BTL. Whether it pays off one day or I just have a real nice looking silver and gold (with a premium) bullion coins - I'm happy.

Very cool. Perhaps a graded coin is in your future.

I know right. Something I truly look forward to, assuming we make it that long.
A very beautiful set!
Thanks. A quarter of the way there, and only 9 more years to go!
hahaha, long term :) I wonder where spot will be in 9 years?
NOTAPOLITECANADIAN Hopefully greater than $21 per ounce.
hahahaah can you imagine ;)

Really great pickup. Way to go.
Very nice!
Thanks.
At first I didn't like the design of the gold horse, but now you guys are making me consider picking up an obscene amount of overtime.
Very nice. I do like the designs. Best of luck on that overtime!
Beautiful coins!
Thanks, I concur.
I just got my 2014 Horse set today. I plan on having PCGS change the label at the Baltimore show on March 27. I assume they'll do it for free.
still waiting on mine...told apmex not to ship mine until they get the label on the silver corrected. hope you get yours done.

lol horse sighting
Is it true that you preach not to worship false idols like green turtles and half horse humans on your outside deck ??
