Icons of Bharat is a platform to celebrate success of grassroot entrepreneurship from the heathland of India. It is a show that recognize the real heroes who are building a better Bharat through their handwork and determination in the field of agriculture and small businesses. The real Icons of Bharat are farmers, housewives, and other micro-entrepreneurs who are inspiring millions to become self-sufficient and live with dignity.
We believe that no dream is too difficult if we have the right motivation, skills and network. Through the movement called “Icons of Bharat”, we are bringing out the real stories of such courage and inspiration across small towns and cities of India.
The show is conceptualized by Indianmoney’s ffreedom app and is a 28-episode show to be aired on NDTV India from 29th May onwards. The show would air from 9.30 PM to 10.30 PM every Saturday and Sunday on NDTV air and ffreedom app.
Each episode would feature 5 Icons from the heartland of Bharat, where they will share their story of resilience and success. The jury members (ffreedom ambassadors) would choose the “Shrestha Icon of Bharat” from each episode. After the preliminary rounds, each Icon would get a chance to participate in the grand finale to get the title of “Sarvashreshth Icon of Bharat” title. Stay tuned to learn more about the show.
