Building Community and Relationships

Peace my friends! Here is another example of one of my manifestation moments I am very honored and proud of.
Thank you to the Creators Kingdom and the Salvation Army for supporting this.
Context - In 2021 I joined the Creators Kingdom platform which granted me ownership over myself and brand. The goal was to develop outreaches in NJ and expand. By this time, I already set things up in New Brunswick and decided to go to Plainfield to learn about how I can help there. In order to learn you have to ask questions and join what is already around you. I didn’t want to re-create the wheel, so I joined the Salvation Army in Plainfield as a start. We introduced ourselves and asked to help. With open arms we developed relationship with them and started working with them. I had volunteers from the ages of 17 and up joining me as we helped make boxes, organize the food pantry, serve the community, and go out to the train station and other parts of Plainfield to serve the people.
With God's grace we stayed consistent and were recognized by local news in “The Salvation Army Plainfield Corps Offers Outreach Through Mobile Canteen Food Program” article for Plainfield.
Main take aways- You can do anything you put your heart to. My answer is in God. When it comes to serving the people, you do it from your heart and with compassion. You get your friends and family involved in the acts of service and help your community out. Recognize that everyone doesn’t have the class and privilege to afford meals for their family. Programs like this exist to fill in the gaps and support each other. The amazing staff and volunteers all had warm hearts and amazing stories.
I share this in hopes to inspire all of us to finish being good people and if you have the ability to volunteer and help out, please take the time to do so. We are all in this together and will need more examples of how to come together. Here y'all are with another one.
