  • Creating a shell script that prints out a month calendar with a highlighted day for each date found in a text file.

    NOTE:
    This is a good script for beginners, but it's not a perfect program-yet. Feel free to take this and make adjustments for your own use cases. Here are some of the shortcomings:
    - Does not highlight more than one day per month (multiple days in the same month result in multiple calendars of the same month)
    - Does not accept all possible years-we solve for stripping out dates from the file that aren't in the current year, but this could be modified to accommodate multiple years
