@@ajclements4627 Actually, in one of the first episodes Cisco invents some kind of superfood powerbar that has all the calories Barry needs for his running shananigans. I suppose that's what he eats in between scènes🤷🏼♀️
I love this show, it's still my favourite version of the Flash. I don't care how cheesy people think it is, it's a fun show with a great cast. Plus, it has the best Superhero costume even if it doesn't have the yellow boots.
10 years later, Sci-fi channel used the same template to make Invisible Man tv show. A good-looking powered hero, a British girl scientist helper and a quirky sidekick helping him. Still loved this show. :)
I watched some of it a few years ago when I got into the CW Flash Show. What struck me the most was the excellent score ... Danny Elfman of course! I really l liked the episode where Barry met the retired superhero, a guy roughly based on Sandman, it had some Batman Beyond vibes to it.
Since it never played on any of the main channels here in Britain, and since I didn't get cable till 2003, all I ever saw of this was the three movies on vhs. Then managed to catch a repeat of one episode on our version of the sci fi channel when house sitting for someone in 2001. And then I got the Dvd in 2020. I waited nigh on 30 years to watch all of this. And I loved it! More so than the cw version, which lost its way for me from season two onwards. It does take about a third of run to find it's feet - initially the network wouldn't let them use costumed villains so he is just fighting ordinary crooks - but from the episode ghost in the machine on it really clicks. Even more so in the last third when they make Barry and Tina a crime fighting partnership. Comic book action with stories complete in one episode. I don't think it's bad at all. I think it's a great show and it still stands up well. And nobody says 'we'll get/stop him. I promise.' What's there not to love?
Weird that the Deadly Nightshade, the titular character from The Flash III: Deadly Nightshade, wasn't mentioned in the list of villains. Anyway, this show is a blast. And, not included in the movies so not eligible for the video, but one of my favorite moments is where Bryan Cranston just randomly threatens someone by pulling a ninja star out of his jacket.
i dont care what yall say I love this show! John Wesley ship was awesome in it :) We definitely owe this show a debt of gratitude because we would not have gotten Batman TAS without it paving the way. Mark in those tights though, oh my lol
With a new iterations of All Quiet On The Western Front movie having come out. I will love to see and will continue to ask for a honest trailer of these film. or its older iterations.
I have that same weakness of forgetting to clean up. But I don't have superspeed. I just got the weakness from my lightning hitting the chemicals accident.
3:27 Y'all are so corny for this. If the internet had've existed like it does now in the year 1990 you can guarantee nerds would've been complaining about it.
The Flash suit had to be covered in powder every time Shipp put it on. Please say "If you aren't dead inside a year, you can breathe easy. I don't hold grudges that long"
Amazing how the lead looks like he could be Matt Salinger’s twin. They were really casting mainly for square jaws for comic book superheroes back then.
I used to watch this every week. Even my parents got into it. Thanks for showing me it again after 30 years to show me how dumb it was. I was far to young to realize it back then.
MANY of the cast members from the 90's show made it on to the CW version. Another cool thing, The Flash was on Thursdays and was beating Cosby! CBS thought 1.1 million per episode was too much and they cancelled the #1 show. Season 2 was going to introduce Kid Flash, I know because at the time I was going to audition for the role. Danny Bilson and Paul De Meo went on to do the Rocketeer instead, I have hated CBS since! Nobody Tricks the Trickster, Nobody.
i love this series, its was my favorite series of the 90s, even more than MACdonaldGuyver , this is the first super hero that i actually like , that including reve spermamen or even betsymen by keaton , the flash is much more colorful and fun , perfect embodiment of the start of 90
Love that show growing up I was glad that he played the dad, my best friend and I watch the show back in the day and I had to tell her who the dad was in the current show... HOW COULD SHE FORGOT.
I love how after these years and all these versions, there has never been a life action Barry Allen that's blond like the one in comics. It's really just interesting.
It was a TV series that got cut into movies at some point. I have the original DVD set from the series and I watch it every two or three years. It was ahead of its time. I understood the ratings were a bit low and they moved it around on the schedule which didn't help. I also had read that each episode, for the time, was very expensive to make and that hastened it being canceled.
I just had to pause the honest trailer because I had to let that Ezra burn simmer just a little bit longer because that was pure gold. Now time to rewind and start it from the beginning. Jesus Christ I want to kiss your writer
I like that the CW Flash series brought back John Wesley Shipp, Amanda Pays, and Mark Hamill to reprise their roles from the 90s Flash series/movies. Shipp actually got three roles on that show by playing Barry's Dad, Jay Garrick, and his 90s Flash. Dude received major respect despite his version being mostly forgotten. Edit: And the CW Flash also brought back Prank, Bellows, and Julio's actors too. I never realized they were from the 90s show.
You have to give 90s FLASH credit for successfully filling out the checklist of Flash's top Rogues. The special fx weren't up to par in the 90s, so they improvised. MIRROR MASTER and PROF. ZOOM were flubbed, but they were THERE!
Okay the line “it’s not guns that kill people, it’s these little hard things” * throws bullets at people* was actually fantastic
"Little hard things"

@@joshuapridgen5714 Your conceit knows no bounds
For some reason, can imagine Ezra Miller doing that if he actually did have Super Powers
This line kills me 😂
"He'll brainwash the Flash into becoming Ezra Miller" was a KILLER line! 😂😂😂😂😂
So😂funny bro I had to watch it again right after
Warner Bros are such idiots for not letting Ezra Miller off.
AGREED
Hilarious and true
Even though he abused and assaulted women, Warner loves Ezra
1:57 To be fair, Barry Allen needed to refuel himself with lots of food to replace the calories he burnt out when running around a lot.
Yep, that was one thing the CW Flash never seemed to remember in 10 seasons.

The 90s movies and shows were a blast in the past.
I love this show. It was so awesome that he was brought back for the CW and bittersweet to see him go in Crisis.
The era when people knew how daft and camp the genre was and didn't pretend otherwise.
This show is awesome. If you think it's bad, you haven't watched it.
It was fun, but it was never given a chance to become great.

This is a blast from the past. I have such a hankering to rewatch this show now.
It was a lot of fun in its day, maybe the best Flash costume yet, I would really like an action figure.

Love the special effects! This ought to be a gold one! 😊😊😊😊😊
If you haven't seen it, so bad it's good, especially Hamill in the unitard vs Flash😂
2:43 - so... apparently the Flash is a food thief because there's no way he was able to order that food AND have it bagged up in a couple of seconds.
Yeah, it was bad but it'll always have a special place in my 90's heart.
I loved this show. I watched it every week. We had to love what little bit of geek stuff we could back then. It was rough back then.

The Flash's weakness has ALWAYS been physics just because without it he's quite literally the most powerful thing in the universe.
How does Barry breathe while moving at supersonic speeds?

Luke legit went over to the Dark Side
so you can do the 90s flash before the flash movie but when any of the spider man movie comes out you skip any of the animated shows?
Let's be real. This video was a opportunity for them to take a couple shots at Ezra Miller. I'm glad that they had the courage to do it.

It's funny to find out he played Trickster in a live-action movie before he ever played the character in that brief _Justice League Unlimited_ cameo.
