Staring - I think we need to stop giving our community the cultural pass. It’s an absolute joke. Was the same in the early 2000s wind forward 2024 and the idea of a brother and sister walking is unthinkable to the staring crowd

In the Muslim majority countries of S./S.E. Asia wearing shorts is more forgiven by the Muslim community for a younger age genarations, maybe because they're not expected to do their prayers frequently.
In countries like Malaysia & Indonesia it doesn't matter, because almost every Masjid or even small prayer rooms do provide "sarongs" (rap around cloth) for anybody to perform their prayers in, and a usual scene.
Personally I always carry in my backpack essentials a "jalabiya" & a small prayer mat when abroad anyways.. 😉

I went to Pakistan and ate street food and didn’t get ill that is because my cousin took me to all the clean places.
