I saw one just like that in NH on RT302 & RT3 a few years ago and said that is a cobra out for his first drive ! Then about six months later I saw a it again with the body on it painted black on a flat bed probably just back from the auto body shop !
Similar to throttle linkage seen on the ‘73 Toyota Corona Mk II (owned a sedan with the largest engine at the time, with side draft carbs, which was, unfortunately, bogged down driving a 50-gallon torque converter). A bellcrank on the firewall could be coupled with linkage from the left or right ~ depending on which side the driver was supposed to be.
Have you put the body on get. How tight us the hood clearance to the pro flo 4. I'm getting ready to purchase one for my build but not sure if it will clear the hood without a hood scoop.
Plenty of room with the body on, However I used Gordon Levy solid engine mounts to make side pipe alignment easier and they also drop engine down about 1" from poly mounts
How are you liking the Pro Flo 4? I am tossing the idea around as a winter project at some point from my current carb setup. Also, your center console looks great. I did something very similar.
PF4 has been great, all I did was use set up wizard and set IAC% and drive the car. Just turned it into slow learning mode last week. I went with the PF4 over Sniper/FiTech for a few reasons. PF4 is true multi port EFI with injectors, ECU is mounted remote behind the dash (not on the TBI), PF4 has a really nice tablet that comes with it, Edelbrock has really good customer service. Up to this point I would recommend it, time will tell how it holds up. I only have 650 miles on my car right now.
Thanks man, now I can see how one's posture is while sitting in the seat. Something you can't grasp with body panels on.
Nicely done. A seven liter Ford with fuel injection is a smart combination. Congrats on the go-cart stage.

Very nice....! And the engine looks AWESOME. Looks like you are doing a real CLEAN build. Congrats!
Sounds amazing! Nice valve covers too!
Congrats, Travis, well done!
So nice, Cobras are such a beautiful piece of art that they even look great naked...
Man I cant wait to build my own.
Badass!! Well done!

Sounds good!
Those Valve Covers are FIRE!!! Very nice...are those custom by Ansen? Those in Blue would look great on my FFR MK4.
Yes had them done by Ansen, those guys are great to work with.
Congrats, Travis! Another one about to hit the streets of NorCal? :-)
What's the finish called on you sheet metal? Love it.
Thank you, Prismatic silver vein. It is extremely durable too, has been working very well.
I’m waiting on F-9, I think it will be an LS 7 power plant. This is a very cool build well done Sir
That's going to be like driving a snubnose 50cal handgun
