thinking about purchasing some property that has a brine disposal well on the property, it is in peacock michigan and the oil wells in the surrounding area are plugged. there is a road grader sitting on the land where the well is located and it might be used for snow removal but not sure, i am waiting for the realtor to provide some paperwork on the mineral rights that i will not own if i buy the land, I was wondering what the process is when the brine is disposed of in the well, is it just a simple truck that pulls in and unloads into the well or is it a more advanced situation creating alot of noise and such
Mike, there are two options for a disposal well - one where all of the fluid is pipelined from the producers into the injector, the other where all of the fluid is trucked into the disposal well. If the fluid is flowlined, there is minimal noise. If the fluid is trucked, there will be truck noise. Outside of this noise, it is dependent on whether a disposal pump is required, although the pump is usually inside a building which limits the amount of noise.
What kinda of injection pump and pressures would be recommended? If I’m going to pump heavy fluid with solids and scale down well what’s gonna be the best way to prevent the inevitable blockage?

There is a lot of variables in the question that require some discussion. Contact me directly.
Hello. How is water injected? Does the well require electrical to inject water into the zone?
Is this a swd?
Interesting my friend
Thank you.
