8:00 Your answer wasn't what I thought of. I saw you could move a matchstick from the 6 to make it a 5, and move that last matchstick to the last four, making it 5(Was a six but removed a matchstick) + 4 = 9(Was a four, but added a matchstick to make it a nine).

I removed a match stick from 6 and put it on the right side. It thus became 0 and we all know, 0 + 4 = 4

Another answer to 7:55 is 5+4=9 . Take the bottom left match from the 6(now a 5) add it to the top of 4(now a 9).
