Super accurate and I was just as frustrated as you were when channeling lol I did stand my ground and the personal accountability has improved and we’re growing and happy now… once upon a time, I really thought walking away was the only answer, and that answer is what pushed my partner into the space they needed to be in to see themselves properly. This definitely resonates with me and it was so accurate in many ways! I'll take the advice to heart. Actually, this gave me more confidence to finally make the first move which I was worried about since I didn't want to rush things but I know they like me back and I think I need to take it a step further mostly to reassure each other of our feelings and cuz I treasure them so freaking much!! No one really asked, but just an update with this person:
He dropped by my workplace at the usual time he picks me up when we're still together. I worked overtime but he waited for over an hour to see me. When I went to meet him to ask why, he just said he was unsure. He said that he was out with his friends but he can't take me off his mind and realized that he wasn't really certain about the whole 'letting me go' idea. I didn't know what to do but I wanted to hear him out so I hopped on his vehicle.
I won't lie. He took me to his place & had sex. It hasn't been more than 24 hours since we broke up but I missed him a lot already. He told me he loves me & swore that he would change & asked me back. I've heard this statement before already. I don't know how to respond but my mouth just have this crazy reflex to say I love you back so that's what I did. He thinks we're back together and is okay now but I'm actually not sure if I made the right choice. I have this worry that I'm just wasting my time and the same thing would happen again. He'll make a mistake and when he's confronted about it, he'll be sorry for being someone who always hurts me. He'll be sorry for not deserving a person like me and he'd let me go again....but then after a day or a week, he'll realize that he can't lose me. And I'll fall for it all over again. @@sadtrash7554 hey, I feel like we’ve been in a very similar situation before. He wasn’t willing to face up to what’s been done so I called it off and I had an awakening. I was 100% happy and fine and content being on my own until he appeared out of nowhere. With how intense our connection was and has been for years and years, I took him back. All was well and he loved how much I had grown until he was faced with what I needed and what he needed to think about. I feel like I had been put back in a place over time to rely on him like he started to rely on me that we kept going in circles. He tried to end it as he thinks he couldn’t give me what it is what I wanted and that I “deserve more” but what I want is legit so bloody simple it makes me so mad and I think I’m just sticking around now to see if he can live upto that. I know what I deserve but I feel like I have put up with a lot of bullshit on his part, and maybe he feels the same but hey at least I can admit it and work on it. We’ve now agreed to space, but he barely talks to me, sees me when it suits him and when I said it’s not fair and I need the effort too he said “I thought we are working on ourselves”. I feel very confused right now as to what the fuck it is that’s going on but all I can say is to trust your gut instinct. If you have a big heart, you will always over look the bad until your stuck in a hard place of wanting to see it through and also letting go. We had a talk yesterday and I asserted what it is that I want from him. I believe in my gut that if he able to come to me and show me instead of his words never matching his actions, then I will know it’s right. But for the mean time, I’m gonna start to love myself and put myself first whether he is here or not. I’m taking my power back to love myself and once I start to do that, I will finally be able to see things for the way that they are now and not just the old feelings of love and the good times. He also said “could we work on ourselves and then get back together when we are older” and I said hell to the no. I’ve given you a chance and if you choose to leave I will finally shut this door and nothing you do or say in the future will change my mind because if they wanted to, they would. Stay strong girl! Know your worth. Give YOURSELF a chance. Easier said than done but start with the little things and believe that you deserve the best and only the best and the universe will provide. Omg so similar😭 why are they like this? We had a phone call before we had our break and he said he can’t love me the way i deserve and the same way i give love to him he thinks i deserve better he can’t give that to me but why can’t he be better bc i dont wanna find someone else but him. Pile 4: I think we all can agree that the best thing to do is just walk away. It’s not worth staying in a relationship where you’re the only one putting genuine effort into it. We all deserve better. It's just sad that I did everything for him and him always telling me that he really loved me but told me he just doesn't know how to show it through chat (since we're in an LDR). I told him to just do what I did but still ignored me at times and told me he's busy with his work and sometimes tired when he gets home. Which I think is true because he's working on a labored job. I understood that. But I'm just wondering why he couldn't even give time on Sundays. It seems like he's still on his job. I don't know. I try to validate his reasons because I want to trust him but then all my trust-issues came up when I found out he's been chatting other guys too. 😔 I set up a boundary and he did obeyed me. But my trust issues grew more and more until I became the bad guy 😔
One night, I thought he's cheating on me, so I called him several times... but then, when he answered, I lose. Turns out he was just resting because he's too tired in his job. 😔
That's the start of the instability of our relationship. Now, we broke up. I broke up with him and he just agreed. I understand because I think I suffocated him. I really love him but I have to let him go because I don't want him to feel my toxicity.
My mental health is affected because of our relationship. I got anxiety and depression. b
But then I still want to fix our relationship so I attempted and begged him to give me another chance and do it all over again but then he told me that he's not ready yet to start in another relationship again.
So here I am, brokenhearted and needed answers until I stumbled here and chose Pile number 4. 😔 I still won't believe that he's controlling. @@johnkevinsilagan9139 It sounds like you needed him to be your emotional support. Having someone apart of that is completely normal, it's fine. But to force them to be your entire emotional support system is where problems start.
It also sounds like you missed certain critical details about him because you were so hyper focused on filling that hole where emotional support should be. He recognized that in you, and decided to use it against you to gain control.
I'd cold turkey that man. Block him on everything and move on. Find better ways to manage your need for emotional support. Take time to really figure out what it is you're missing. Rather than looking for it in others you should look for it in yourself.
Ultimately, you need to learn how to love yourself. Choose yourself first before anyone else. Take care of your needs first. Everything that is you, should come first. And as much as you might want to think it is, I promise, it isn't selfish. It's you taking care of you.

I realized all of that now that I don't have to rely on my emotion to other people. All my life I've just been used by people I thought needed love. I always fall for them. I gave all my attention to them thinking they needed it. But in return I was the one who needed it. I just though I had so much love to give that I have to share it to the person that I'll love.
I don't understand how he's controlling me though coz it turns out I was the one controlling him. I became a detective in his life even if we're a hundred miles apart, I always got jealous at him even if I got no clear evidence. I always thought he's fucking another man while we're distant that's why I'm paranoid. I know it's just all in my head that's why I felt guilty breaking up with him at the thought that I am just making assumptions and accused him of things he might didn't do.
I don't know. I want to to try again but maybe this time I'll just trust him because that might be the only reason why we broke up. 😔
