At least you didn't import the game fron Japan to get it before Launch only to realize it was shit like I did. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. I remember all my friends at school were itching to know what the game was like and I couldn't bring myself to tell them. Learned a lot that day, Final Fantasy XIII was a learning curve and it too heavily impacted my gaming hobby. It was a wake up call that told me that gaming was no longer the same anymore and it was heading down a downward spiral... it still is to this daay.
@@RPGArchive1 exactly, you’ll def have a change of opinion. I never got to finish it and would love to try it on my PS5. I remember enjoying the gameplay, it just got pretty tedious towards the end of the playthrough.
Can relate to the whole "chasing that Chrono Trigger experience".

I actually liked 13 when I played it last year. Best looking FF and good story. Cool unique gameplay. It is like a turn based auto battle.
The game is not that bad, it has a lot of issues but there’s still redeeming qualities about it. I rather 13 than 15, strictly because of the gameplay
I'm sure I'll replay it some day. I think a fresh set of eyes would do wonders.
