@@bbbt8090honestly I got their stuff right as they got bought by Amazon. Have the security system and cameras. I’ve been waiting to see if they would finally improve but I’m about to start replacing their stuff with eufy

First of all I want to thank you for attending CES this year to show us what’s coming this year. I was kinda surprised that there was nothing from Ring, Wyze, Eufy, Arlo, or others this year. Not good!!!
I can't wait for LH's review of these products. Because of him I have my cameras on my home alerting me of people in the vicinty of my home and feel more secure.
At CES 2024, Tapo introduced a Homebase that would allow us to store video like Eufy is already doing. Now, been a year and nothing about it, and not displayed with their products. I expected this. And on Black Friday instead of waiting any longer on Tapo, I spent $1,000 on Eufy products. I appreciate your suggestions on them. Thank you. I see a lot of Eufy in the Baseus products. Wonder if they licensed from Eufy and made those. Hmm,
I’ve always thought Tapo should use their wide angled cameras that they use for doorbells like 160+° FOV etc, into an actual camera and now they are working on it! Can’t wait for the release of that, it’s about time it’s being used for more than a doorbell
Reolink was very underwhelming this year tbh. I was expecting new PoE cameras (like a PoE version of the Argus 4 Pro) maybe some new turret options with ColorX, 4k ColorX doorbells or even real AI features in their software (not just slapping an AI label to old stuff). Looking at what other brands are doing it feels like Reolink is focusing on the wrong things right now
The 24hr solar camera has been interesting but i’ve been waiting on the Black version as the white just sticks out too much. Agreed though, very underwhelming overall. Pretty much everything was previously announced or expected.
It would be nice if they'd open support for almost any POE/ONVIF cameras with the usual disclaimer that all features might not work. I love my Reolink NVR box and cameras but almost none of my other brand cameras will work with it.
Reolink is falling behind Tapo and other brands from a technology and app functionality standpoint. The cameras and resolution are great, but that only gets you so far. My prediction is Tapo is going to be the brand to watch in the next year or two as they are innovating and are going to take away a lot of business from companies like Reolink if they don't invest more in the app functionality and AI tech.
The most important thing for a camera is picture quality and durability. All other are aspects are meaningless if the basics isn't there. So Reolink has nothing to worry about provided they give full ONVIF/RTSP support. 3rd party software like blueiris, synology, frigate, etc can do the rest easily regards of app functionality.
@@verygoodbrother What do you mean by prize? Reolink should have compensated me for wasting my time and for drilling holes in my house. Instead, they refunded only 80% of the cost, deducting a restocking fee, which is unacceptable.
Why did you speed up the Tapo interview bro. Would love to see it! Anyways, i just bought a Tapo D210 yesterday because of your review and hoping that it would work well

I've been really disappointed with Reolink's doorbell implementation. They were one of the last to release a doorbell and so had the best chance of getting the perfect one right out of the gate. Doorbell cams needs to be able to see packages on the ground. As far as I can tell only the new battery version with head to toe view has a chance of this but even then I have my doubts.
