To see that you as a couple and as a marine biologist and a maschine engineer can just go out and do this really makes me happy. I have a big dream of visiting and exploring the great Austrailia some day.
ALWAYS bring a tarp and either trekking poles or pick up walking sticks ... then with the cordage you always should have you make a simple lean too shelter ... it doesnt matter what the weather is ... shelter is a MUST have ... for shade from sun or cover frm rain and winds ... anyone who doesnt carry that basic bit of kit on a hike is not looking out for their own safety and are putting themselves and rescuers at risk

Strick, I have nothing in the world against you. Honestly, I don't even know you, except from your videos. But I sure do envy you. Walking in paradise, swimming in it, sleeping int it. Eating from it, drinking coconut water fresh from the hulls! And you get to just admire and enjoy Fran... She's your very own personal mermaid! She's got guts, and is fearless! A good fisher, and 'crayfisher,' and a good sport when it doesn't work out. And Fran seems to be a good cook, even when her 'kitchen,' is lite on the ingredients. She's a good sport, even with a toothache. I'm not trying to be nasty or hateful. Just 'jellin!' Jellin so very badly to be in your... Well, 'sandals,' I guess! I love to fish, although I'm about past my swimming prime. You both are living life, right at it's simplest, and maybe on the edge. I see the sharks! You're living life and sharing it with people you don't even know... "Like myself!" And I'm grateful for the ride along with you two. All the walking in this one has made me tired!

Although I agree with letting nature run its course without interfering, at the same time, humans are nature --- we are natural beings --- therefore, whenever we decide to help nature along and lend it a hand when it's in need, that is also technically letting nature run its course
And then think of when earth made that area like it is today and how it looked in the beginning. Earth is a crazy place with the beautiful spots. You 2 are extremely lucky to have found each other and did the adventure's . 2 people who love sea life and what is around that .
