In 2000 my wife, at the age of 29 was diagnosed with cancer. She had wished she could have left me a child. In 2003 she died. Life is tough, sometimes unfair. I wish you all the luck in the World and are very happy for you. But I don't think God has anything to do with living or dying. They'd be a brutal being if it was so. Make a round on the childrens ward if you think otherwise. It's all a toss of the die.
