It's so relaxing when he puts the plastic pieces together and how they sound when they are put on.....anyone else feel that way?

I must say, the beach part with the sand is probably the most realistic beach I've seen in scale modeling. It's truly amazing.

Amazing work QDC! I was in France with my father not too long ago, and we visited a few museums near Omaha Beach and there we spoke to a few veterans of the French military during the conflict! It was so amazing to hear their words of gratitude for the brave men who died that day

IMO your best so far. By far your most dramatic. You rose above it. It's an excellent investment of your time. I've really enjoyed it.

I feel a little "Shell Shocked" after watching this last installment of your Operation Overlord videos. The confusion and terror felt by those boys rushing ashore must have been overwhelming. We were very lucky that day save for those who gave their all. God bless America and the rest of the free world, live free or die. P.S. the diorama looks KILLER!
+James Parker Thanks. Yes, this diorama does evoke a true story, why there was an invasion, and a sacrifices that so many men had to give in order to have freedom. I'm going to tell you a true story...when I flew on the B-29 Bomber, a worker there was talking to for a half an hour after the flight how "Freedom is not free," When she said that, I think about the diorama I made. I tried to make this a realistic as possible without too much gore showing the audience how terrible war can really be. Take care buddy and have a great day!

This turned out to be a superb diorama, the water splash and sandy beach look great, and the soldiers laid out in such a way give it a real story element.

Yep this guy is a model master he has encouraged me to produce an aircraft carrier. With an ocean also 2 destroyers with some komakazies hitting the water. 👍👌💥

Outstanding! You have captured a moment in history quite well to say the least. The previous video's leading up to the finished diorama are truly a labor of love. Excellent outcome, during the building process you have used all sort of techniques, what i liked most is they are easy to use not expenssive with great results. You couldn´t be more right can´t rush it has to flow by itself.....Cheers my friend good job!!!

really cool :) the landing craft is really impressive and it yearns for a diorama like that. as you know i have visited the shores of the landings last october, seeing it in person even decades after the events is a very moving and interesting experience.

Very impressive!...the only suggestion I might make is the use of clear, gloss gel medium (available at art supply stores) as a substitute for water effects. The product (many manufacturers available) is a gel and sets clear and glossy. Waves, ripples and even waterfalls can be very realistically represented with it. I often find that caulk (silicone), even the clear stuff, looks a but rubbery and looks not quite right. The gel medium on the other hand looks good and can even, if desired for muddy, bloody or white water, be tinted...

Great work! Very smart using the kit to simulate water. You are too modest, I think you are very close to being an expert. I'm looking forward to your Tiger, I am just starting up on a Tiger 1 early with interior from Academy. A very nice kit, I got the Eduard PE and Friul tracks, as well as an Aber barrel with that.
