I can’t remember the countless times I’ve watched REMEMBERING LICHUAN and still remains emotional. The best C-drama ever played by Godfrey Gao and Jiao Junyan. Their love is so pure and eternal until death separates them from one another. I cried like a river when the story ended killing the main character. More so when I learned the actor Godfrey Gao died in real life. My prayers for your eternal rest.
Exactly the same for me in 2024. Watching this clip a few months later, I grieved for her having to experience Godfrey's death in actuality... little did she know.😢
I've experienced it. 14 years ago I had a lover. A handsome young man. In the end he died of colon cancer. He was suffering for a year. Dozens of times underwent surgery on the stomach. This is my 1st Chinese drama and I greatly appreciate it as it was in English subtitles. I understood what was going on throughout the whole episodes. I was emotional till the end. These two actors matched each other's talent and acted so well together. Love them. I just wished GG was still alive today so they can do more great dramas together. GG and JJ 💕

He also sent it to her so she could choose to free herself from her love for him, he told her “If I died, you would have the right to move on“ and that she may meet someone else and have a more passionate love after him. So her throwing the rings away symbolizes her completely appreciating the love they shared but being willing to move on and see what the future holds. It shows her character growth, remember how she couldn’t let go and now she’s accepted that it’s fine to let go of a relationship, and be enthusiastic for the future and other relationships. So I think he will always be in her heart, but he is dead, she would fall in love again and hopefully have a good relationship in future . So her real happiness is letting go, which she did when she threw the rings in the gorgeous lake ❤️

Очень трогательный сериал.Особенно переживала за Лио.Как мучался в своих страданиях и физических и моральных.Не хотел делать больно своей невесте,но сам страдал .
Все зациклились на кольце и книге.Энни столько страдала.Отпустила его в мир иной,что бы он там не страдал.А кольцо это их символ любви,поэтому после поцелуя улетело в нужном направлении.
