You have a natural gift of storytelling. Keep honing that craft, you can do some amazing things! I am going to Bali in just a few months, at the start of May, and I am so excited for the experience!
@@UNITY3I3 I had a wonderful experience, life changing in some regards. It all depends on what you're looking to get out of it. I personally enjoyed seeing the more authentic Bali, away from the tourist and enjoyed my time in Lemukih the most, exploring the jungle and waterfalls such as Sekumpal waterfall. I stayed in a home front with a wonderful family, and recommended if you take any tours for waterfalls to reach out to Buda's homestay. There are many tourist traps, and scammers, not just around the waterfalls but throughout Bali. But these are rare. The people of Bali are fantastic and some of the greatest, most humble you'll ever meet. Our time in Ubud was fantastic as well. The monkey forest was a great experience, mainly because a monkey untied my shoe lol but is wonderful to see something so up close where back in the U.S. you can only experience in a zoo. We started our trip in Uluwatu, then Ubud, Amed, Lemukih, and finally ending our time in Canggu. I am currently here enjoying my last night. Canggu is definitely the busiest and more so for tourists. Prices will be much higher in Canggu than anywhere, especially for food. The roads and driving were significantly different than my experience driving in the U.S. If you are driving a car, be weary of the tight roads. But people will be patient with you, and will simply go around you,(going around and a simple honk are not offensive at all on the island, and is done so mainly to let you know they are going around). Overall it's been a experience I'll never forget. The food is amazing. The affordability makes you always want your money to stretch this far lol and the culture is one that'll leave you with life altering lessons. Long winded response, I apologize lol hope you enjoy the trip!
As a Canadian currently travelling Bali for the past month, your video just made me realize how much I love this place. I am going to miss exploring this beautiful island and making connections with the kind hearted people of Bali. Amazing video, definitely want to come back here again.
Who needs the Travel Channel when you have Tristan? That was an amazing sunrise trek. Two dollar meals! Ten dollar massages! Maybe I can afford to travel after all.
I haven't finished watching the video yet but the music when the sunrise kicks in is perfect bro! Put me right in the feels and got all the emotion of the moment across. Great job so far on the video and amazing job on the last one!!!
Great Vids Tristan - I’m in Australia, my wife is Indonesian and we go back to Bali, Jakarta and other parts of Indo regularly. You captured some great parts of Bali. We loved the interview with your Grab driver, I think the fun of such trips is the open intrigue of new connections, two people genuinely interested to learn from each other. Keep up the channel, I’m subbing into buddy.
Just watched this video and Ubud is where I feel at home. And you captured it so genuine and beautifully! Love your work and will definitely watch more of everything you do! 🫶🏼✨
Beautiful video. I love everything in this video, especially the end of the video. The mood of rainy day, that's my favourite. Color grading, music, everything is fantastic. 😍😍😍 And I'm glad you meet Wayan, such a good guide.
Great travel video Tristan, really gives me a sense of what Ubud is like, but it really made me smile seeing you get to the top of Mt. Batur. I'm off to Bali in a few day for my first visit and I'll continue watching these videos before I leave. Top quality all the way around.. subscribed.
I loved your video, teared up when you captured the Mount Batur sunrise. It was really beautiful. Hopefully i can plan to hike Mount Batur as well real soon 😍❤️
@@TristanKyrollos Thank you! Do you have a list of your itineraries for each area you stayed at? Also, hoping it won't be cloudy when I do the Batur hike haha
Yo bro, im currently living in Bali! And you doing soooo good, keep it going and you will go places !! I film to, but have some struggle to colorgrade like you - do you use any ND filter on your lens? Thanks again for the good video and vibes
thank you! living in Bali must be amazing. and no, I don't use ND filters. I tried for a bit but it's too much of a hassle when travelling and also switching between photo and video a lot. I just crank the shutter speed haha. for colour grading, try downloading some LUTs and experiment with all the settings!
where did you have your lunch after the mt batur hike? i cant tell you how many times ive watched this video! i feel blissful watching it im using this as reference for my trip!
@@TristanKyrollos Thanks Tristan. Your Bali series is very well done and inspired me to ditch stills and go full VLOG style. Im a Canon boy myself (6Dmk2) and just could not re-invest in RF lens, and did not wanna haul heavy gear (24mm F1.4 L + 24-70 F2.8). When I find one of your filming spot in Ubud, Ill remember to give you a shout out.
It would be awesome if you could share the contact or info of these guys. They seem awesome and would love to travel with them. I'm looking for guides for my solo trip in bali. thank youu
I don't have the contact info of my grab drivers anymore unfortunately but DM me on instagram @tristankyro and I can give you more info with the Batur guide!
