Aurelia Chase, a journalist, was caught snooping around in a place she wasn't supposed to be.
The resulting confrontation took an ugly turn.
Once witnesses arrived, they found her inside a locked room. Alongside a dead body.
Now, she stands accused of murder, and has to defend herself.
Will she be able to discover the truth?
Well... That won't be necessary. It would be counterproductive, in fact.
The truth of the matter has been clear from the start.
Because no matter what excuses Aurelia might make, she is guilty.

Also I love how random the court record looks with tuning forks, empty suitcase and old tvs.

I feel like only Blackrune could come up with that Lillian easter egg. Talk about knowing your target audience to a T. The bit with the curtain was also pretty rich, though I suspect that one may actually have some significance. Unlike Aurelia, I am not doubting Lillian's intuition, and not just because of what she might do if I doubted her too much. The duo did a good job of getting through the opening part of the trial, but it seems like they'll soon have to confront what every attorney dreads: the witnesses.

I wonder when those 2 men from the intro cutscene will show up again. I mean, I'm guessing that they'll be summened as witnisess in the near future as they broke down the door and saw Aurelia hold a gun in her hand, but aside from the intro I'm surprised those 2 made haven't made an apearince. I mean, there designs and animations are so cool.
