ineligable for express pay lyft Looks like we're missing some information before cashing out fill in your details at the dashboard is what it’s telling me I’m a new driver what does this mean??? I submitted all my documents already
Lyft is a fraud.. they will lie in hundred and one ways to withhold your funds until Tuesday pay out. I had to learn recently don’t waste your time, sadly, they’re predators also.
Can you use another debit pay method like a prepaid card to transfer money
What does the "other payment" mean? Like what do those represent?
What kind of prepaid card to use any? Or??????? Help I don’t have a bank account yet
So am I automatically set up for express pay? I don’t get it. I haven’t earned any money yet so I can’t tell.
My Scotiabank card declined but my friends are using the same bank card? Lyft support saying try different card but I already tried RBC Visa and that one didn’t work as well.
Any suggestions?

I hope this is false, but is true that Express Pay isn't available for drivers who rent a car from them?
They won’t let me cash out because I need to add tax information. When I go to the tax page it doesn’t let me add any of my information but my ID.
Thanck u for help me 10
No problem glad you enjoyed the video!
I will start by saying I have watched many of your videos, you do a good job and actually give useful content - unlike some who just post for clicks and read news articles.
With that said mike, if you can't figure out express pay on your own - should you even be driving? You are better than making videos like these payout videos. Don't make a video just to make a video and you have far more credibility than some of the other rideshare newsreaders.
Just my opinion.
Hi John I appreciate your feedback! Yes this is a very basic feature and should be pretty self explanatory to most. Everyone's different however and I remember when I first started driving I had no idea where to start. Those unfamiliar with the app may want to see a demo before hitting buttons and inadvertently making unintended changes. I agree this is definitely Lyft 101 here, just want to cover all spectrums! Glad you're enjoying the videos and hope to see you on upcoming live streams!
Agreed, regardless how many videos you watch there is so much trial and error you need to experience things first hand. On the job training is 10x more useful than a video.
Though I don't agree with Uber's practices, I can't stand all the people on the #deleteuber craze. It sucks but it is what it is. Go find another gig that you think the grass will be greener and in 3 months you will come crying back because you didn't like your boss, your hours, you couldn't listen to music at work etc etc etc.......you can't have it both ways people!! Just be happy it was as good as it was for as long as it was. It is called business.
If you want to complain about uber, try working a manual labor job for 15-20 yrs. oh wait, millennials don't want to actually work. Funny, who are the majority of your #deleteuber supporters? Get an education or put your education to use and get a job in your field, oh wait you didn't research that before hand and for every 1 job there are 200 applicants. Go to trade school, oh wait that would require work.
News people, if you are not complaining about uber/lyft - it is because you don't actually consider it work. It is entertainment for me while getting paid. I don't do uber because I have to, I actually like it and in the process I contribute the max to my 401k at my fulltime job and subsidize the extra $ there with incoming income from uber/lyft.
Those who are dependent on uber/lyft are the ones who complain the most.
To me it is no different than fast food workers wanting $15/hr. Then they get $15/hr and after the fact realize that they are now in a higher income bracket and the extra money they thought they were going to make now they have to pay for their own childcare. They didn't realize how good they had it making $10/hr with free childcare. Uber could be no different. They could pay more per mile, and in return they don't have to have it nearly as driver friendly. The driver could have to manually input the pick up location and drop off locations and not have it automated. Drivers take for granted the platform in place and how user friendly it is....... EXCEPT HELP SUPPORT!!!
These are great videos. I clicked on it because I just signed up today and I couldn't remember the fee. It was explained great here.
How long will they keep the $5 to cash out
Hi WhatsTerryDoingTV thanks for commenting. I don't see this changing in the near future, previously $50, I feel like that $5 minimum is a good threshold.
mike...Im not getting paid. What do i do?
Hi Jody, have you reached out to Lyft support? They're very fast on Twitter I recommend tweeting their support team if possible.
What kind of card did you used
Hi Darren, thanks for watching. I cashed out to a debit card, more info here: help.lyft.com/hc/en-us/articles/213830188-Express-Pay#cashout

So if you take the whole amount what happens with tax I heard shouldn't take all of the money but half of what you earned?! For tax reasons?!
Hi John, if you don't use Express Pay your funds will automatically be deposited in full to your chosen account every week. Having said that you should be setting money aside for taxes. I recommend consulting with a tax professional/CPA regarding how much should be set aside as this amount varies based on tax brackets and employment type (full-time versus part-time).
Your Driver Mike
Set aside in my bank? Or in the Lyft app?
You can't set aside money in the Lyft app so this would need to be done in your bank account.
Sweet when will tax take affect?
