Yes it is always a good idea to upgrade electrical, but yes you can use this amp or any other amp on stock electrical however you will not get the full amount of power out of it And sooner or later your stock alt will give out.. also the gains on theses amps have to be turned pretty much all the way up to put out any power so when you do get to using it dont be afraid to crank that gain up just use the clip light to set it if you dont have tools to do so
Not having enough electrical doesn't mean that you won't get full power out of your amp... it means that you are damaging your equipment, and if you don't keep an eye on it, it will probably burn your car down. Please don't give advice if you don't know what you are talking about!

Dam bro!
I'm running a different system now
No disrespect but I don’t understand people who pay that much for subs yet have stock electrical you’re going to damage those subs because using stock electrical I guarantee your amp is going in the clipping a lot everybody’s first upgrade if the question of Rafaelsen watch needs to be electrical
Was just waiting to install them into a different vehicle with power upgrades already done to it, just couldn’t wait to hear them, however it was wired at 2ohm so not as much stress on it but yes I was willing to take the risk just to hear it tell I was ready to put in the Tahoe
And yes your 100% correct electrical should always be first
@@famousmoon i had to say it’s refreshing to actually have a reply that agrees as you know some people in car audio can be quite harsh about things sometimes but I love those godfathers wish I could afford a pair of running 4 Skar EVLs 12 with a SFB 8k and some limitless Lithium Cyber series, Mechman alt and All OFC
@@JamieCarAudioChannel I am always open to critiques and suggestions/ advice, I am not perfect nor do I know everything, but I will do my best to help others if I can and if I can’t I’m not going to pretend that I can, and yeah it’s weird on the prices of The Godfather’s they went down for awhile there and the xmaxx woofers went up in price but now there both up there, I got lucky and ended up getting both of theses for the price of one bk when I ordered them because of a website failure I originally ordered 2 of the xmaxx with 30% discount but they were out of stock and website didn’t automatically update so the owner just sent me The Godfather’s and covered the price difference out of his pocket because of the mistake
Dude their barely moving lol I had 2 12s same version loved them but not at a grand ea
I paid 700 for them seller covered the rest out his pocket and yeah ya gotta think they were wired at 2ohm on stock electrical and in a prefab with separate chambers tuned to 42 hz
I have extra batts I got godfather's I got taramps8k my godfather's handle 3k plus...I GOT A STOCK ALT!!!!! ...ASS BACKWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!
Was not using any extra Batts in this vehicle just threw them in this vehicle to quickly bump while I waited for everything else to be ready to be thrown in the tahoe on this vehicle everything was stock
@@famousmoon yeah I was like alots of dameg can be done when you pull Alot amps off a stock sytem and heat the coils up of the subs to soon. But how them subs holding up in that box my audiopipes murdered my boxes and I know them g fathers are no joke..
@@GMTPF800 yeah I was running it at 2ohms so there wasn't as much amperage draw I actually took them out of this box and put them in a custom box they banged hard on the lower notes but shortly after putting them in custom box 1 of the motors cracked and shifted so I sold the good one and threw the broken one in the shed then I had a conversation with Bob he told me to send it in but I decided against it and to not support AB anymore due to a very rude customer service worker
Who ever wants to turn it down?!?!
Nobody really, lol but it did allow me to save the equipment tell I put it in another vehicle with better electrical but,,, yeah I know what ya mean
I like that box 👍
Its the best prefab ive ever used
Omfg my Rockville 10s flex a car or SUV like that if not further. Then u show the subs moving...lmao wtf u buy those for? No B's u could a went w some Jensen's n x Maxxed that much lmfao prob been louder too. Haaaaaaa lmfao
Lol try and get your 10s to flex a windshield in a Tahoe, not gonna happen and clearly you skipped that part where this is all still on stock electrical was still hitting a 150db which you ain’t doing with your Rockville 10s but ok enjoy thoes bottom feeder subs
