Can you tell me the height to the top of the tripod legs (not with the extentions engaged) of the 70" and the 65"? What height tripod is being used in the video?
Hi Just purchased FRHN 14CVX20 Tripod in UK after a vg in-store demonstration. Delighted with it as an enthusiastic amateur photographer. Re this helpful video, how does this part number relate to the 'BAT' series in the video. Can relate the 'X20' tripod head part. Many thanks.
Nicely shot video! 👌 Please can you tell me what the main difference is between the Bat and Rhino series tripods.
The primary difference is in the leg angle adjustment. The Bat has 5 steps including ones that are above the shoulder of the tripod. This allows you to lock the leg in an upward position. It also would allow all 3 legs to be in the upward position so that you would not have to reverse the column to do ground level shots. The system works on a push button design and would require you to release the leg to fold the tripod. The Rhino has a more conventional leg angle selector.
When tripod is in folded position, are the legs locked up in place or could you just swivel them all straight down without pressing a button?
They do not lock; just pull them out and set the length and angle.
