Great to hear from you again, Mark. And interesting as always. I kinda like the diversity of the channel right now, not just focusing on Linux (although I use that exclusively). Other aspects of tech (like your wifi adventures and macbooking) are welcome and happily consumed here ;-) Thanks!
I wonder if releasing your app/games through Steam would require notarization from Apple. All my Steam games that are available on MacOS seems to just runs fine as soon as I press that green play button, no extra dialogue appearing.
That's a good question. I have no experience running any games on steam through MacOS. I would think they would be fine. I've never had any issues on Linux or Windows. Steam might take care of getting notarized on MacOS.
Linux is superior in my opinion to Windows and Mac. That said, I bought an M4 Mac Mini for specific purposes like backing up iPhones, Logic Pro, 3D printing and design apps, etc.
Linux is excellent at being Linux. I use it regularly. But it is plainly obvious that if you want to use a computer as a tool to do something else that is not a “computer thing” Linux is obviously inferior. People like macOS and windows bECAUSE they lack control and they’re a streamlined experience
