More like CONCUSSUS. 9/10 I felt llike I have had head trauma shaking in the Colossus seats. It is so rough! And don't forget about nearly getting your arms taken out by a stray tree. Lol

Yeah colossus back row was by first thrill coaster (I don’t count galactica as a thrill coaster) and that nearly made me not like coasters anymore

Smiler is obviously the better coaster, but Marcus wins the argument for the line: "The Smiler is like riding a shopping trolley down a mountain"... I've never ridden a shopping trolley down a mountain, but I can very much agree and imagine that's exactly what I vision it being like.

I totally agree with your very factual opinion on Rattlesnake, Marcus. It is indeed all of those things. Best ride at Chessington I've ever gone on so far (I haven't gone on Mandrill Mayhem yet)

On ride alone I prefer smiler because I think saw is rough also I think Colossus is rough as well but I love them all in different ways. But I do agree that you go on rides to be thrilled not for comfort.

I believe that the smiler is better on the account of three factors. One of them being that saw is barely ever functional (at least in my experience) as it was closed for at least half a day on both of the days I was at Thorpe park. Saw is also really rough and both times I went on it I left with a headache, and the last point being that the smiler has more inversions than saw and is just more enjoyable in my opinion

Marcus finds it too difficult to realise that Saw actually is not a good ride and isn’t as good as The Smiler

Alton towers rides are just better, no question about it 😂
In my opinion, Alton towers coasters are amazing and there are loads of worlds first coasters there like the smiler oblivion and the others. But I prefer Thorpe park when it comes to coasters because of the overall experience you have on all of them. The swarm, Saw, Colossus and nemesis inferno are all really well themed and great rides. Stealth doesn’t have much theming but it is still an absolutely amazing ride. I prefer Thorpe park in terms of coasters but I only just prefer Alton towers in terms of an overall day out for the family but only by a little bit. But I respect your opinion we all have different thoughts that’s why the theme park community is so great

Smiler, nemesis, wicker man, galactica and oblivion are the only good coasters in Alton towers, and Thorpe have saw, swarm, stealth, colossus, inferno and all the flat rides, Alton have no good flat rides
