One of the best shows of the tour thusfar. Wild second set with big jams that had them getting so deep they ran out of time. Thanks to all parties involved for making these happen. Band's in great shape.
A simple question that is purely curiosity. Why Goose and not Spafford?? What is it that separates the two bands. Why did Goose explode in popularity? In my opinion the two bands are equally talented. Anyone have opinions about this? The whole idea of deciding which band will “inherit” the jamband community once Phish call it quits kind of sad but I’m genuinely curious as to why in this case it’s Goose over Spafford??

I was pretty confident that no matter how clear I made it that the question wasn’t intended to favor and/or bash either band that somebody would still find a reason to complain. I wasn’t trolling..I was trying to create a conversation. But hey..I get it. Social media is a place for anonymous insults, not productive conversation.

By the way that opening jam was funky and fun.
I love both bands a lot. I think Goose has more popular appeal with their songwriting. Spaff is more jammy which I love, but isn’t everyones thing.
