Opened booster bundle display. It's kind of sketch really. I purchased it from Walmart and it said sold and shipped by walmart. Then UPS tracking mentioned MJ Holdings. They don't have the best reputation online

You are right about the etbs appreciating in value but the most liquid product that someone will want in the future is a booster box. Just my take. Also, it’s neat to have all these premium collection boxes and auxiliary products for specialty sets but etbs are the way to go (and booster bundles). Less space, more liquidity.

I bought two booster bundle displays for 151 right out of release for $300 each. Super happy I made the move and the move and didn’t wait for these current market prices.

Dude your poster collection case just has a white sticker over the factory label. You can start to slowly peel off a corner of the white label to uncover. I did that to a few of my cases and if you peel slow you can get it off clean. And that case is factory sealed with that clear tape, only the first printed collection cases came with the stop tape

I picked up those booster bundles from the Pokemon Center, got 50 had a 15% off code , so they were like $24.50 each. I also got like 40 Sea and Sky collections. Had my son breaking down the boxes. 😂

You have to be in the US I believe. I’m not sure what other countries are allowed right now. But it’s just like any other website that has a shopping tab. I’d just recommend using PayPal when you buy things so you have protection

I thought we'd get CZ levels of 151 availability where theres a permanent giant stack of it at my rural Walmart for years and years. 😅
I think you should consider why collectors criticize people for purchasing accessory products. Personally after only 1 year, I've realized that it doesn't matter what my sentiment is of a certain product. If the market thinks badly of something, it means I am not going to sell it quickly or easily which us a huge part of buying and selling. Collect what you like, absolutely, but invest in what others like, because it's them that has to buy it. And you know what's hard to sell? Items that others never liked/preferred at a price now higher than they were even willing to spend on release. Not only is it easier to sell booster boxes, but they appreciate greatly in value over a period of just 3-6 years, but ETBs and accessory collection boxes reflect market sentiment in that after 3-10 years most have only gone up 5-10 bucks. Booster Boxes do that in the first few months regardless of sentiment.

@@JBTCGany products besides booster boxes. Again, I recommend you collect what you like, it keeps it fun and fresh. But invest in what you can sell easily, the community is very helpful and has so much advice. I ignored it initially, learned lessons the hard way, but still in the game!
@@christopherborchers766I respect that 100%, I’m mainly breaking down collection boxes to sell 36 pack lots for the popular sets (CZ and 151) because those lots sell well and often. I’d also recommend you check out the percentage gains and the sales on SWSH ETB’s over the past couple of months, double digit percentage gains across the board

Hey, I started investing a few months ago and I was wondering what has been easiest to sell and what is basically impossible to sell because I know that some people might not buy a random collection box
Especially if they don’t know what packs are in it. I’m going to assume that closed items that don’t show the pack in the front will probably not sell very well.
@@Amino_CR yeah you are right, booster boxes are generally no.1. However, you wanna pick popular sets so twilight masquerade, 151, lost origin, and paldea evolved are all gonna sell better than scarlet and violet base. So, if the set is popular it will be liquid. But overall I’d go booster boxes and ETB’s mainly if you are looking for liquidity

I picked up around 60 Japanese 151 booster boxes for around 65 each. Even at 100 they’re not a bad pick up.
smart man. I picked up 130 boxes a few months back at $55 avg.
@@magnificcenTCG nice! It took me awhile to realize how good the price was and now they’re hitting 100+ . I’m probably going to hold for awhile to see if they go back to 200+ again
@@pomom123 yea they hit a low over the summer. The lowest price I saw was 10 boxes for $430 before shipping, but I'm seeing them around $85 now. I'm gonna hold for a few years at least, fantastic set.
Japanese 151 is not selling nobody at card shows will even buy the singles. Ask me how I know.
@@FelixgreenYT LOL, Jap 151 had a massive reprint, the price has nearly doubled since its lows in summer. It will do very well in the future it just takes some time, you prob haven't been in the hobby very long to think otherwise 😂

Edit: ok I see what your angle is. Just remember a lot of data shows that booster boxes over time produce a heightened return/ yield than any other product. But if you like etbs, go for the PC etbs! They have exclusive promos. Ow that will fetch a higher price.
All of this if investing is the goal. Display is up to you! Just a tip not instructions. You can do whatever you want. Good luck on your investing journey!
@@jodo7814 oh yeah I’m with you 100% I only buy regular ETB’s if the price can’t be ignored like these between $24-26. Big fan of the SWSH PC ETB’s ngl. Also most of my money went straight into CZ and 151 so it didn’t leave much room for booster boxes. Thanks for watching also and good points!

Bro xy etb going for like 200, 10 year old etb. I personally believe newer sets etbs will be worth way more than $200 in 10 years. 200-30 170x(etbs invested) don't sound to bad to me.
I unfortunately didn’t get cases so it makes sense that there’s a slight premium on those. Still a great deal. Yeah I think only XY evolutions is that low. The other ones are even higher which is wild. I think these S&V and SWSH ETB’s r gonna do great
