I love the depiction of the characters situation right now. They’ve been going back and forth through different dimensions for god knows how long, They’re tired, they haven’t seen genuine civilization for so long and it’s always the same thing over and over. But this time they can’t die which leads them to suffer even more. Nikolai seemed the most upset because in the trailer, he can be seen punching a zombie to death while screaming. This map shows the constant stress the primis crew goes through and it’s just really good storytelling
To those who are a bit confused about this part of the timeline. Heres my unasked for crummy explaination of bo4s story, i think. Blood of the dead happens in all timelines. Primis get Takeo's soul in Zetsubou No shima and they go to Blood for some blood vials. But, this time around something different happened. The Kronorium changed. This lead to the events of Blood of the dead. After Richtofen dies in the Dark mechanism, Post revelations Richtofen gives him the Kronorium and makes him the leader of Primis. A new richtofen volunteers to stop confusion. They dont remember his death due to Element 115 exposure. Map 2 CLASSIFIED: Primis arrive at the moment before Ultimus go to moon. Primis Nikolai says that they need to come with him. And that this is detrimental to the multiverse. According to the Kronorium. Nikolai needs 2/3 things. One of which is the summoning key, which they already have. The other two are the Conduit and the Elemental Shard. So the next map happens. Map 3 ALPHA OMEGA: Here. Primis and Ultimus team up to aquire the Elemental Shard from The American Pyramid Device in Camp Edward, Nuketown. There, they find out about Cornelius Pernell and an old friend of Tank Dempsey, Peter McCain. Peter is released and the Shard is obtained. Map 4: TAG DER TOTEN Here is the final map of Aether to current knowledge. Victis is released from there cryo pods from Richtofen because they are needed. Richtofen, like Tranzit to Die Rise. Teleports them across the earth to a Group 935 Facility in siberia. There lies the historic Pablo Marinus the man who documents the Great war in the Primis Timeline. There in Siberia. They find the Conduit to the 'Agarthan Device' Pablo recharges it and then it is given to Primis and Ultimus. Nikolai poisons everyones drinks while celebrating, then gets Samantha to cap him off with a Welling pistol. After the Cycle is broken and The characters dead, The zombies, Doctor Monty, Element 115 even Victis themselves where banished to the Dark Aether. The shadowman. Destroyed by the summoning keys explosion. And then Samantha and Eddie walk into the light to live another life. A normal one. I hope this was informative. Better than spending an Hour getting into the real nitty gritty but nevertheless i hope you liked this.

*when you think about it... the only ones who really escape the dimensional collapse - are the mob of the dead crew who escaped to heaven after being set free*

Mob’s story was still better. They were tired too and had no escape. I think Nikolai screaming was a homage to Finn doing it in the mob trailer.
