I liked how in the original the cell bar would get bent kinda showing how extreme their training was
The only problem i have with the remastered, is that the models eyes are expressionless

Hmmm... I don't like the extreme shine and gloss in the new Killer Bean Projects. It looks so unrealistic and artificial, even "living" surface material. And the new music didn't fit the flow of the fight for the most time. Personally, I prefer the original scene.

The original has more BG details, like some wall texture padron, more things outside the cell, you can see they have some sort of reflection on the floor

Long one here. skip if you need a TL;DR cause i'm just expressing my thoughts on this here. So, there are some positives and some negatives to this i think. on the plus side, metal actually looks metal now, and the overall shine on different things seems more accurate than it originally did when everything was flat color. Bullets, the gold on Killer Beans guns being gold and not just yellow, Jet's metal braces (which, in the original, i didn't even know were metal at first because they look like sleeves to his jacket) Just an improvement overall. You can tell what is leather, what's metal, what is cloth. So yeah, big improvements there. there is a downside of this where some of the colors feel more washed out. it loses a bit of its brightness overall, but that's not entirely a bad thing for this scene, and i'd say it improves the intensity of things here. The environmental design is also very nice. It's dirtier, grimier, and just gives an overall more "prison" feel. Broken tiles on the wall, the added stripe of black tiles it all just works nicely.
The downsides though. There does feel to be shine to things that honestly don't need it or could use less of it. Like, i get wanting clean shiny floor tiles, but floors that have been walked on for a long time just don't stay mirror-like shiny. I feel as well like there is a bit of excessive shine to the characters. for example, Jet's hair is oddly reflective, definitely needs to be toned down a bit there. The skin of them also reflects light a bit more than necessary. Some things feel TOO shiny, and i think that a little improvement to material work could be done to bring the gloss of things to a more accurate level. The other big one is the facial expressions. they did tone those down a good bit, particularly in the eyes, in many of the scenes. While i understand it's easier to animate a scene like this with fewer facial expressions, it added a lot of insight into the thoughts of the characters to the fight since there is very little dialog. I also feel like the loss of the final bit of dialog at the end kinda hurts it here. Jet's final words were like an ominous warning, a bit of foreshadowing that Killer isn't finished, that even when he thinks it's over, he isn't getting out so easy.
Overall, I think it is an improvement to the original, but in the same breath, especially with the facial expressions, it does lose some of the feeling of life it had. It feels like the characters are almost going through motions a bit more without those more pronounced expressions. I like it, and still think it's good work, and if the expressions make a comeback and the lighting and shine issues get addressed, i think it will honestly be perfect.

The original is still better, and not because of the low quality, but the original seemed like more effort was put into it.
The fact that added quite alot of details
I feel like the "remastered" scene lost as much detail as it added. Yes, the color in the original is relatively flat, but in the new cut of the scene everything's blurrier and the faces in general are much less expressive, especially the eyes. I also don't get why KB's dialogue was removed, especially since Jet got a new line.
Man, the Remastered 4K version has higher resolutions sprites, but the OG ones have more detail in the scenes such as better face models, proper lighting, shadows and gold pistols who actually shine like one. I'm even more surprised that Jeff Lew managed to do this pratically all by himself during 5 years of development. I wonder how the remastered version decided to remove all these nice details who helped in the atmosphere of the scenes.
2:03 would somebody explain to me why doesn't jet bean look at killer bean in the remaster like in the original movie? Just look at this, the remaster could have been perfect if they had eye movement

Personally... yeah I don't really like the new "remastered" version. Like it's... fine? But everything is so shiny now, and I feel like some of the detail from the original was actually lost in the new remaster.
The new one doesnt have expressions on their eyes, the original one was realistic

Vegas E. Trip was the movie actor. and yeah, the guy is very well suited for the movie version, while Jeff was better for the more comedic one pre-movie. Hearing the comedic Killer Bean voice coming from movie Bean in the new series is just weird.
