Great recap! I showed this to my 85yr old dad. When Fringe 1st aired, we watched it faithfully. My dad, a retired scientist himself - & with his own quirks, really loved it. Probably the only show we watched together since i was a kid. So thank you, it was an absolute joy to watch ur recap and enjoy the show together all over again! We both look forward to season 2 recap!
Fringe was essentially "modern" X Files and just like the X files as soon as it got into the later seasons, it was all about the larger conspiracy and just boring :( All the Fringe "incident" episodes were great!

I give actress Anna Torv so much credit because she played her original main character Olivia and her alternate main character Olivia both very differently. The stakes felt high in that season too as well which made it very exciting.

You'll see if you get one of the boxes. Excellent storyline and origin set ups. PS there were three cows in total, " Go Gene, the cow..."
You know, that first set of the airport and emergency have truly been an amazing piece of cinema. I've seen it in loads of tv shows and movies lmao. that set poppin tf off!

This show is actually really cool. Even though the science is silly, it kind of FEELS real with both the process and how it's presented. It's not just "smart guy knows because yes" where no attempt is made to justify or explain, you get actual like 70-80 year old professors with backgrounds in the relevant fields, real investigations and experiments and at least SOME explanation of how it works and how they figured it out. Even if it's only fictional, it is pretty entertaining.
This was actually one of my best season movie those days, alongside 24 (Jack Bauer), etc, i think 🤔 I used to call it Fringe science 😊then but sadly I couldn't finish it
