“My arshole was in a critical state last night” “it had a battering at the ring, didn’t it?” 😂 In my opinion the best bikers channel on UA-cam! Full stop, period! Keep up the great work and the banter. Whoever you boys employ needs to fit in with this 👍
When I was 9, I couldn't wait for The Beano to arrive in our letterbox on Tuesday mornings. Now it's the same for BBB on Mondays. Great episode, keep it up lads.
The third instalment of ‘Good Value Collaborative Moto Excursion’ was another detailed look at the road network of Germany and France at speeds of up to 50kph. There was also a dog at the end.
You two are the best thing on YT. Pissing about on bikes is what life is all about. These bikes are from my time, and I don't feel the new ones at all. Too complex and unnecessary. I'm going to piss about on my newly acquired 'busa this year with a few good mates. Cannot wait. If you get a meet up arranged I'm all over it. Ride safe lads.
It's not the same fart noise. That's what elevates and put this on a BAFTA nomination for best music/effects. I like to think that on a server somewhere there is a folder filled with mp3's called 'Farts'.
I love watching you guys. I’m from the US and myself and a buddy plan on doing something similar to this this summer with my 50,000 mile 02 RC51 and his 2004 35,000 mile Kawasaki ZX10R. I can’t wait.
Great to see another episode makes Monday feel a bit better... My ZX-12R is about to roll over to 40000km this year and she is still outrageously ridiculous even compared to the modern litre bikes... and as to the Autobahn as I live in Austria and I have ridden to the UK on her yes she does enjoy the Autobahn in Germany a lot...
@@stichupman A friend of mine had a TL1000S and had it from new until about a year ago when he was knocked of and it was written of and he did have issues when rebuilding it... but he did ride it a lot...
Great vid as usual!! Btw 40,000 miles isn't that big of a deal...at least for japanese bikes....my 2006 Yamaha FZ6 had 140,000 kms [about 87,000 miles] on it and was still running strong, when a crazy accident took it out. Love you guys!
Only just noticed that Chris’s YZF has ‘BEL’ on his reg plate 😂 Bloody love these series, especially with 90’s period classic bikes. Bikes we all wanted & drooled over when they were new 🥰👍🏼
I spotted it in seconds but I'm an autistic fuck. I honestly thought it was deliberately done just like Top Gear (allegedly😉) did in Argentina. It would have been easy to find a cheap DVLA plate with FAG in it for the other bike...
been an excellent series lads. love the editing style, you guys always hit the nail on the head with the visuals and music. i find it interesting the paradigm shift between the start of the series where you guys seem a bit off it, to this episode where you are both enoying every moment of it. cant wait for the next one
I'm sure some younger riders would actually think these bikes are slow. Bear in mind that in production TT races these machines were lapping at near 120mph average speeds. Maybe 116-118. They will still flatten most quick cars off the lights especially the blade. I had 2 Blades, a 1994 and a 1998 model. Both were nuts, and still are. Back tyres finished off in a week on the continent, 170mph on the autoroute/autobahn/ A64/M1, pegs scraped to buggery, Jellybean leathers, no speed cameras, Performance Bikes magazine, West Coast jackets and jeans as you wheelied off the lights and over every available crest in the road. Them were the days.
Great content as usual, chaps. How about the next series is ‘Budget Rat Bike Battle’? I’m talking placing all parts with those available on Wish, anodised bar ends, seat covers, tyre paint and chinesium fairings!
Ride my 96 blade every day for commuting for a couple of years. Used to get about 140-160 miles before hitting reserve in general mixed riding. She's pretty efficient, even for modern day!
Bump in torque at 7-8k RPM, long duration cams. Many modern bikes with their high-lift cams and more flat torque curves lack the drama of that top end rush.
Anybody else remember Performance Bikes Magazine shoe-horning a YZF1000 engine into a YZF750 chassis? IIRC they had to weld on the 750 crankshaft end to use the compatible timing pickup, and the weld kept snapping during testing. Yamaha bought Ohlins, so they had the best suspension, but didn't fare as well otherwise against the competition. I don't think any 90s superbike beats the CBR900RR except for the '98+ R1, which was an enormous leap forward in every single metric.
having bought my K1 used and it the speedo was completely off with sprocket fuckery so even though it say 48000 miles Im wondering what the real number is. I connected a 12 O'clock labs speedo corrector cause I cant be without an accurate speedo.
Aaaah, you guys went through Strasbourg, on the part of the highway where I've ridden and practiced a LOT on my first superbike, that got me so nostalgic! And now after 13 years there I moved to England... very different world here, I have to say
I had a YZF back in the day, and from what I remember it's shit on fuel, mid 30s if remember right. I have a 93 blade now, I can get up to 60mph riding hard a, it won't drop below 50
Is there anything better than arriving into a beautiful area you haven’t ridden before at the end of a long day… just loping into the golden hour and heading to park up and get dinner? I say no!
Thanks for yet another fab Budget Bike vid those two bikes have been fantastic glad you get to see a bit of Beautiful Germany I lived there for 3 years in late 1970s Auf Wiedersehen Pet, one year I rode my Yamaha XS 750 over there and all the German cars blew me away, looking forward to Oktoberfest and the mess you boys get in to😂
i once went to Saarbrucken for a german techno rave in an abandoned church, it was fucking amazing, the place is beautiful and even ze germans were friendly
I like to see a bike battle between a Ducati 996 and a Suzuki TL1000R. And really see if the TLR is a true 1 liter duc eater. Lol. Or a Suzuki TL1000S vs Honda VTR 1000F firestorm aka superhawk.
40k is just "run in", I got 120k miles out of my CBR600 before I sold it. A 90s fireblade is the perfect bike to do a trip around the world, the engine won't let you down.
Was the Exup valve checked & set up on the Yzf ? When they operate correctly they make a big difference to low end torque, at least mine did on my FZR1000 exup ru

And drive a VW van at 155mph it seems.
That quote is up there along with “I don’t want to get bummed by a trucker…”😂😂😂
Holy shit this was gold!
You can't beat Fagan's documentary-style voice overs. It's what makes BBB's for me!
Next episode looks exciting... bring on Monday's!
When I was 9, I couldn't wait for The Beano to arrive in our letterbox on Tuesday mornings. Now it's the same for BBB on Mondays. Great episode, keep it up lads.
Wednesdays, mate!
Same level of humour........a sub standard Viz.
@@ronwhite8503 embarrassing, can’t watch it.
Abosofeckinlutely loved this series. Great stuff keep them coming! Love you chaps

The transition sound effects are top notch, I like to think they're all original one off pieces. Pure art.

Looking good with the “Frankie goes to Hollywood” moustaches, I’m sure they gave you access to lots more clubs last night 🤣🤣🤣

My ZX12R when I sold it had 48k on it and it never missed a beat
They’re talking mph not kph
My TL100R has done 52 k miles. Can't say it's been easy miles though lol.

@@hmmjedi bummer getting knocked off. I domt use mine as much as I would like. I bought it cheap as a project and its certainly been that lol.
Keep up the good work . Already watched the movie but keep rewatching each time a new episode comes out. great content guys
The pink suits and the fart noises......SPOT ON! I LOVE IT!!!!! Dang it I need a sport bike!!!! 😭
The shimmery fannypack over the leathers kills me. I love you
it has an emergency Ferrero Rocher inside.
@44Teeth to entice the little ones?

Amazed you haven't been bummed by truckers already with those taches. Great series lads.
BBB has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever watched on UA-cam and the discrete Bel numberplates on Barons bike completes it for me.
This is the only thing that can possibly make Mondays bearable..love it
Half a meter of snow keeping me from riding my -96 blade, I wish summer comes early! Greets from Finland.
By far the best channel on youtube, pure comedy gold love watching you guys🤣👌🏼
Thank you, we love BBB

As much as I love that yam in pink, the blade has this buttoned up. Definitely the best bike.
Thank you for good entertainment on a cold Monday in Norway 😎🛵👍
Flat Stick on a 90's Sportsbike, This takes me back 👊

IDK what I'm more jealous of, the fanny pack or the riding suit. So RAD lol.
I somehow look forward to the knee skidding broaping through the bends more than I did for the ring. This was a nice interlude though!

General running around the blade would do 167 miles before turning on the reserve tap.
Funny my 05 gsxr 750 just rolls 55k and my valve clearance was perfect! Love watching the budget bike battle! Ride on
55k miles?
You have been in Baden-Württemberg, not Bavaria, nearly the whole time :D Until 20:23 min (roadsignleading to "Nonnenhorn").

The squelchy fart sounds bring a touch class, excellent work.
So what we don’t get to see any autobahn footage??
I drove that road by the Bodensee this summer… the views are incredible!
You pair have all the fun , lucky beggers
"Stubbed a cigar out in a jaffa cake" is going to stick with me.
At around 22:00 you entered Bavaria. The federal state before Bavaria is Baden-Württemberg (This is where the Black forest is (: )
"Piglet teats, not these wild massive things" 🤣🤣🤣
"my arsehole was in a critical state last night"
"Had a battering at the ring ??"
There's a big difference between the 92' 93'ish 900 and the 98' 900.
I loved my 98 immensely.
I can’t wait for the next one episode!
It's only episode 4 and those custom leathers look like they've shrunk a little

Absolutely brilliant, thanks guys 😂😂😂😂
Great episode,not enough sausage!
Will they realize that they were not in Bavaria yet? Lake Konstanz is in Baden-Württemberg
gotta say Fagans new leathers are by far the best i've seen on this channel.
I wonder what the differences would be in the yzf SP vs R version. Chris also needs to test OW01 one day
What suit does Al have on to have boots under his leathers?
Was the Exup valve checked & set up on the Yzf ?
When they operate correctly they make a big difference to low end torque, at least mine did on my FZR1000 exup ru
All the guys from Baden-Wurttemberg may beg to differ you were in Bavaria when you were going along the Bodensee there ;-)
Good to watch look forward to the next one
great vid, but in germany it's actually illegal to run out of fuel on the autobahn 😂 still amazing, i'm always happy to see another episode
Gotta admit I've always got a slight bias towards Al, I remember seeing a slightly less portly Fagan on a Honda in 2009 at Thruxton!
I raced him in about 2015 at the minimoto endurance race in swindon 😂
My New Hoodie arrived today, thanks 👍🏻
Such tools, I love it.
Been waiting for this to drop
Mondays just got even better 🎉
When you order two stickers but only get 1 :( the snapback cap is top quality though highly recommend! keep it up lads!
"Honda limit their bikes" in 1994? 125hp Euro 'gentleman's agreement' not applicable to a Blade of that vintage.
These bikes are 26 years old, lets just think about that for a minute. 🙂
They’re older than Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend 😂
I’d like to see an episode where Chris does the German accent for the entire video. Die Booget Bike Battle!
Thank you for my Monday dose of mustache 🙏
Man who green laned his Gixxer. Scared to touch his idle screw. Man up Perkins!
10:10 Didn’t happen, but I wish it had.
Anyone know whaty navigation app they're using on their phones?
One of my cbr600s has 76k, still runs sweet 🤷♂️
Top Job Chaps 🤘
Remember the two of us having coffee with cake on a Münich lake shore terrace, about fifteen years ago, and having to pay 50 pounds for it....
