It was a 51 shade of red metal flake. I watched it being filmed when I was a teenager. It was a lot of fun. Have fun with your build!🥳👍. Looks like a nice kit.

That's a really nice looking kit. I really like Revell kits. I could never get a kit built in 48 hours as I'm a pretty slow builder. Doing all if the American Graffiti cars is a cool idea. Have fun!

Thanks. Kim's group build runs from Jan 1 to Oct 1 of 2024. I have all the kits to use for the cars, it is just a long process to work them in.

Hi John, thank you for joining my group build. I cant wait to see your American Graffiti Mercury. Maybe I remember it wrong, but is’nt that Mercury red or maroon?
Anyway, the small square decals in the kit, is for the trophy base 🙂

Thanks Kim. And thanks for the tip on the decals. I found some research online that said the color was Cimmaron red but Someone sent me a note that said it was a 51 shade of metalflake. I'm getting close enough for me.
