Meanwhile Julius: We should have leaved Japan after beating dracula, my sister turned into a kawaii anime girl, and her change in style is starting to affect me.
On reflection, Axe is probably the single most powerful weapon in the game because it's piercing and goes through enemy and terrain in its path; therefore, making it tough to use effectively because of the defined arc in which it travels employs balance. Axe is for daredevils attempting a speed run on the bosses. At level 2, it's devastation to a boss' barriers and core/s. I have videos proving it. I still need to get Axe 3 and test that. But yeah, Beam Cross? Stay away from it.
Like one of the Gradius Gaiden bosses from the Boss Rush stage…… Given that description, would you be talking about either of the two Death Mk IIs (which fire the big laser first, then missiles after you blow off the doors), or more likely, the last one of the three ships of Triple Core (which shoots a big pink beam and rotates to try and get you with it)? That's what I think you're going for here…
Julius was born in 1980. Chronologically speaking, Otomedius [Gorgeous] is set around 2010 concurrent and ending with the Fifth Bacterian War (i.e., Gradius V) and finish around that time. Kokoro is between fifteen and sixteen in the first year of St. Gradius' high school when Excellent starts in 2011. It's unlikely that the same father and mother waited about fifteen years to have Kokoro, but it's not impossible. The thing is, we can't know this for sure because that information on the parents and their ages are not available to us, and probably doesn't even exist, so we are left to speculate. It seems a more likely idea that Kokoro Belmont is not from the same mother for whatever reason - we'll stay clean and assume she died, so the father re-married - thus making her a HALF-sister to Julius… and honestly, I could see that happening.
I beat the game on expert, maybe not flawlessly. And TOP GUN achievement is possible if you try. I even got it, very easily I might say. You should actually put in some effort if you want to get that achievement. And what's wrong with Otomedius Excellent?
Now actually watching this in action, here is my reaction upon watching the first level all the way through… "Oh, Jesus Christ up in Heaven…… KONAMI, WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?!" I want to strangle them now for their F#$%-UP of a balance patch. They had better fix this, and FAST. (◣_◢)

so that explains Dawn of Sorrow's anime look. Damn you Kokoro, next time i see you at a family reunion.....
Julius Belmont you should be proud to have a sister like her!
Richter Belmont huh?
Kokoro's my sister...
So you got a Roman name and your sister got a Japanese one...
Hello Julius
I feel bad for not knowing about kokoro belmont until very recently
I imagine another generation of Parodius to have more characters that are different species.
6:45 *CONTRA BURGER* I wonder if that proves it; Otomedius, Castlevania and Contra share the same universe.
