That first drop almost made me poop my pants but my anus was so tight you couldn’t have shoved a greased needle in there!

@@bryanfuchs1512 it was just a wood roller coaster but they reinforced it with steel and it is much smoother. A long time ago my dad hurt his neck. I rode it the other day and I was just fine
Iron Rattler (and the original Rattler) is such a good coaster! I love that it and Superman Krypton Coaster utilize the rock walls of the quarry that Fiesta Texas was built into.

this is my secondary home park. Let me tell you all that when you get a full train in just about any weather, this thing still hauls on the top of the Quarry wall. Still good ejector on the small hills, and of course that drop off the wall is heaven.
Great pov, love the ride, but it was definitely running cold. That was really slow in to the brake run. I remember being thrown in to the lapbar in the back row entering the brake run when the lift was slowing you down at the top, while this one kinda crawled in to it with the full lift speed.
Give this baby a full train and a night ride after it's warmed up throughout the day and you'll actually fly through the course. Great ride and I would say #1 at Fiesta Texas
I feel like RMC is truly at it's peak when it's taking a design that either is a semi-fail or the tech wasn't really there to make it as great as it could've been. OG Rattler and Hurler into "Iron Rattler" and "Twisted Timbers" to me are the best examples of this. Sure, there are other good conversions (though the cheapness of some of the parks makes some much weaker than they should be), but ground ups (or near, I mean c'mon Iron Qwazi is a homage it has zero in common it's more like Zadra the ground up from the vids). I admit I haven't quite ridden all (in the USA) just yet, but definitely 3/4 and this is still a top 3 along with Twisted Timbers, I got like 3 whom fight for #3 for me tbh. I know it's just my opinion, but for the first I-box with inversions (if if seems I'm off by a year, remember others were ground up, new texas giant has no inversions, etc) really super-delivered. The drop is as it was meant to be, the cliff-diving is awesome, and tbh the slower part on top is actually pretty cool and the ride isn't too short like sadly a few too many RMC's ended up in at least the Six Flags Parks.
Once I rode Dragon Mountain alone at Marineland the train was so light and moving so slow I almost got stuck multiple times, including in a loop. This reminded me of that.
@@traviscrawford6516 That’s good because it was Terrifying to almost not make it through a loop on Dragon Mountain. I image this isn’t like this with people in it.
The Iron Rattler will be getting a 3rd train in 2022. Their goal is to run the Iron Rattler at full capacity regardless if 1 train is being repaired. Fiesta Texas President Jeffrey Siebert announced this at the 30th Anniversary presentation on 1-8-22.
People will find any reason to hate on a coaster. Or anything for that matter. Crawls on quarry ? who cares. the fact that this ride is built into the land scape and has a section where it slows down at ground level then has another big drop and tunnel, pretty cool IMO.
Exactly. Still the best RMC coaster in my opinion. Of course I also much prefer the ones like this that aren't like 75% "new coaster" or "we lost 1/3 of the layout." Twisted Timbers also falls into this category. It's basically like 2.0 versions fixing issues that time and or tech couldn't quite manage while adding in some new things, making for a way better experience. I sadly cannot say the same for ones like "Joker RMC" or "Twisted Cyclone" where I'm just like "and that's it?" For the former I preferred both GCI roar's tbh (though wildcat needed what it got).
