Sam Witwer's already a legend for voicing Starkiller, the Emperor, the Son, and taking up the mantle of Darth Maul but this man deserves to lead his own movie or Disney+ show.
Sam Witwer smacking that button with only 30% of the question said aloud has the same energy of Luke turning off his targeting computer on the trench run.
Sam is some how the nerdiest guy ever, yet is also a God dang stud. Freddie is such a bro, he's so chill and fun, even if he doesn't know much about Star Wars.
it was really great! Sam truly is master of the force (He even mind tricked Christian into seeing Freddie's wrong answer as correct!). I feel bad for Freddie, trivia is not his thing, but he was really great as an announcer before. Good luck to anyone taking out Sam one on one, that doesn't seem possible. Glad Force Bros won anyway, it was 2 vs 1, pretty much.
This was a great match. In terms of the mishap with Freddy's answer, everybody makes mistakes. If anything I think it might have made the match more entertaining because it went on longer. But I'm sure you guys will get a lock on the score keeping in the future. But this is a fantastic match regardless!
This wasn't a 2v2 battle, it was Sam Witwer v the Council. No disrespect to Freddie Prince Jr, he knows star wars in his own form and Freddie recognize Sam's intellect in star wars and just like he said he pretty much just released Sam to demolish the world. What a great vid, I loved this.
Sam Witwer is a motherfucking beast. That dude..... damn... he has to have the force with him. There's no way he could've done that shit without it. The Force is real, its fucking real, and it's within Sam Witwer.
That Obi-Wan answer at the end was ridiculous. An all time great Schmoedown moment. I want to see Sam in a non-Star Wars show though and see how well he does then.
I like how during the speed round it was like Sam realised they were giving home team an unfair advantage and hit the buzzer before having the entire answer

Sam is either the most intense method actor of all time or the biggest star wars fan of all time... Holy Fuck. He was damn close to a flawless victory.
Freddie was totally likeable. And okay, he knew less than Sam, of course. But he still did good. He still showed he knows the movies. And really, c'mon. What other fandom has its stars doing relatively small-time trivia competitions, involved in the community for more than just publicity tours? Gotta respect that. That's seriously awesome.
But the whole point of the category is to choose from the pool of questions of varying difficulty and assign them to 1,3,5 pointers. You can get lucky and get easy question for 5 pts or get the hardest ones possible for all 1,3,5 pts. The category is fair albeit very very random (not only you choose your questions but also points). But it's not like both teams had prearranged questions, there were surely some killer ones which the Council could've as easily stumbled up on. Also it's better they got the puppet question assigned to only a 1 pointer and not a 5 pointer, right?
Tiffani Hernandez nope, nope, nope....Alexander is right. you gotta 86 that dude. He's not to be trusted. He's the kinda guy who will steal the change out of your couch seats or use all of your ice cubes and not refill the tray with water for new cubes. A true scoundrel.
*Possible future spoilers for the Rebel's cartoon show* At 36:55 Sam got the answer for Jedha without ever seeing Rogue One. It's totally possible he heard about the planet from people talking about the film. However, before Sam answers, Freddie asks "Are we even allowed to say that?" Which leave me to believe Sam's knowledge of Jedha has something to do with the future of Rebels. Something else interesting to mention. At 37:22, it looks like Sam is about to comment on his answer but then the scene hard cuts to Harloff reading the next question. Seems like whatever Sam said there was edited out of the video. Probably explaining how he got his answer. So I'm guessing this means that at some point in the near future, Jedha is gonna make an appearance in the Rebel's cartoon.
Its absolutely fine regarding the accidental point situation. At the end of the day it is entertainment, and entertained we were with an amazing match, and mistakes happen. Thanks for an amazing episode Kristian and Collider crew!
Even though they accidentally gave Freddie an extra point for the nerf herder question, Force Bros still deserve the win because 3 POINTS FOR ANAKIN’S HAND?? That round was ridiculous lol
it was all fun and games. Harloff shouldn't have to apologize. it was so entertaining to watch, you guys are amazing and this show is my favorite content on youtube!
He actually discussed this on Twitch the other day while playing Battlefront II. The Last Jedi - "There were a lot of things in The Last Jedi I found compelling in a Rian Johnson filmmaker point of view. They just didn't fit into Star Wars. I don't think he did his Star Wars homework. The themes, what it's about, what the characters are about. But as a standalone film, if I don't know what the Jedi are or who Luke is or what he represents, I think there's some compelling things in there." The Rise of Skywalker - "It's not as meaningful to me because I can't really reconcile that mythology with George's. But that's just my opinion, you know? My personal take is I think a Star Wars where the moral of the story is 'throw down your weapon, don't hurt your family, love or fear.' I think that's superior than a Star Wars where you win by melting the bad guy's face off. That's just my thing... I don't know that you can do a better ending than Return of the Jedi." As someone who enjoys the sequel trilogy, I completely agree with his answers, The Last Jedi would probably have worked better as a stand alone story and The Rise of Skywalker was never going to compete with the perfect ending of Return of the Jedi.

@@mgbomb11 I have to admit I really love Rebels, I think Kanan is probably my favourite (Canon) Jedi since Obi-Wan and Luke, Sabine grew interesting as the show went on, and legacy characters like Vader, Maul and Obi-Wan were handled surprisingly well :)
Deathlygunn I think it was a good show and I agree out of all the rebels characters Kanan was the most interesting. I just think they should not have brought clone wars characters into it and made another show just about Ashoka and Rex
Mason Ginn dave filoni had no idea they were going to get to get back to clone wars. He put them in rebels to let people know they wre still around and because he never got to finish their stories.
I got 47 points playing along and I'm pretty proud of that, but I've no doubt that Sam Witwer would still kick my ass in SW trivia, the man is a living database.
Sam Witwer plays nice, but he seems like a Sith Lord in secret. Is that just me? There are menacing undertones within his gracious acceptance of victory; I just think he recognizes his power but knows to keep it veiled by artificial humility. Not to mention that jaw. His jaw alone gives away his allegiance to the dark side.
This was awesome. In a weird way, the scoring mishap almost adds to it all. Makes the result more contentious and leaves everyone wanting the rematch. There has to be a rematch.
Kristian, THANK YOU for putting together this match! It was amazing from beginning to end. Witwer is the fucking man when it comes to SW movie knowledge. It's too bad this has to be 'mired in controversy' but I think the Schmoedown is still a work-in-progress with trail and error here and there. Honestly, I think the Round 1 rules should be reinforced so that there is an exact time limit that each participant must put down their pens at the same time. Please don't let this discourage you from having another Tag Team match for SW down the line. The Witwer-Napzok single match should be amazing but I don't see how Sam can be beat.
This was the best Schmoedown since the one between Freddie and Sam before. I didn't catch the error while watching it either, so I totally get that. Still so much fun to watch!
I would love to meet and have a Star Wars conversation with Sam Witwer. He seems like a really nice guy, Maul is my favorite character, and we could keep up with each other in Star Wars trivia. Would give anything to meet with him.
Not even mad. It was an excellent show and the excitement by everyone was evident. Things happen. No big. I like that you address it in vid and not in a separate vid.
Agreed. I think Christian handled it professionally and in all seriousness. I feel bad that the Council might have been cheated out of a chance to win, but then again, they had tough opponents. He played as a storm trooper in The Force Awakens.
