I have the HT-21 in a portable DIY boombox. That thing is so loud I can't even put the volume half way up lol mind you, I'm only using 4" speakers with an 8" subwoofer. 😂😭
In my opinion on this video ht21 wins if you can listen closely and even in a distance test the sound are the same loud and clean i have ht21 too and planning to buy zk-as21/tpa325 i suggest to use right power supply that this 2 amps needs or required if you want loud and clear sounds

Can I run a 12" infinity alpha 121w subwoofer with this amplifier, or will that damage the amplifier or subwoofer? Go with the HT21 and a rule of thumb is voltage multiplied by amperage, for a general idea of capable power. I use a 36v 11a power supply that is adjustable from 24v to 40v, i have it set at 36v currently. Any voltage within the amps listed voltage is fine, amperage can be as much as you want too. I would use atleast a 5a power supply, voltage is up to you.

I would like to keep it always on and then just use a breaker switch that provides power/turns off. So whenever I turn on the breaker to have it automatically play from the usb (on repeat).
Why are you driving it with that underpowered 19V 4.75Amps power supply? Did you push it to clipping and measure if the voltage is sagging when clipping? Why not drive it with 36V and at least 10Amps. Doesn't that use a TI TPA3251 Class D chip? That thing can put out 200Watts at 1% THD Stereo and draw 300+ Watts. More on mono.

@sergiuadigaming4763 I'm not sure what either amp does at 8ohm. 32v 5a is enough but it won't power the sub fully. 32v multiplied by 5a is around 150w, so probably less than 100rms at 8ohm. It will still bump

Wuzhi Audio has a better following and actually has many of THEIR OWN amps and other devices(on their website). The Xinyi brand is just a Chinese copy(of a copy lol) and doesn't seem to actually do their own designs..etc.. just my opinion. I would go with AS21. Or even better, the AS21P

@@scarr3ll How does the HT21's treble increase work? the TB21 that I have the treble additions adds high mids too and I don't think it's cool... Does the HT21 have a better treble control in the range of 12khz and above or does it add high mids of 3khz or 5khz?
@@lucasmarchette10 unfortunately all of these amps more or less control the same. That's one of the downfalls of these amps. Just gotta find that happy medium.
Yeah that's what I think too. You can actually utilize a bit more of the volume and controls with the HT21. Look into the new version of both though, the AS21P is a great upgrade over the old AS21 by leaps and bounds. And the "new" HT21 is the DSP A1. both have much larger heatsinks along with a fan, and a few other upgrades. But they also include some 2-3pin connectors for TONS of other options. Like adding external upgrades bluetooth, or dsp, or separate sub amp..etc And if you want rca outs instead of aux, buy some 2.54mm 3pin rca and hook up to the 3pin audio out. These also accept 12g wiring and better potentiometers too. Go with the integrated potentiometer version, unless you plan to build an enclosure for the cable type(like the ht22).
Hello, I need help, I have a Breeze Audio (tpa3116d2) 100 watts per channel with a 19v power supply connected to Polk Audio T50 and it sounds loud just by raising the volume a little, with this amplifier that I bought Wuzhi Audio (HK-HT21) It sounds super soft and distorted, the sound looks like a Walkman, how is this possible with a more powerful amplifier?
@@scarr3ll If I am using Bluetooth and the number 12 speaker cables do not fit in the amplifier, I have to split the cable in half to be able to fit it because it is too thick
Hmm it's hard to say what the problem could be, without being there. Try resetting whatever device you are connecting to the amp, and then forget the Bluetooth, re pair the Bluetooth and see if it fixes it. Other than that, try a few more things like different speakers, a different power supply, pair with a different phone..etc. the process of elimination to just make sure that it is the amp that is faulty. In the mean time, I would email seller with your issue and possibly open a return claim. Get your money back or get a new amp to try out. These amps sound nice when they work properly.

Yes, your power supply is too small. 12 x 5 is only 60, so your power supply is only capable of maybe producing 100w from the amp cleanly. I suggest a 36v 10a power supply atleast. Voltage from 12v- 36v but the highest amperage you can afford. I use a 36v 10a switching power supply and have great results.

I've not looked to deep into running these off of a battery, but if you check my latest videos of the portable Bluetooth speaker I am using a Waitley/Makita 9ah battery and a battery adapter that has pos/neg wire out and I can wire that to the amp and power it off a battery. If you go with a Quality battery like a 9ah Waitley 18v then you can power these for a long time, well over 2 hours. Get two and wire them in parallel for even longer run time or wire in series for more voltage/power!
Also note that these Waitely batteries aren't cheap. One will run ya a bit less than a $100. So if you don't have a use for them in other power tools, it may not be worth it but these are top quality made batteries with a digital battery level read out. Paired with the Makita 18v battery adapter off ebay, it works great. You can get super cheap 9ah batteries on Ebay but they are cheap quality and probably won't last long and likely aren't true 9ah, more like 4ah.

Use the highest voltage power supply the amp calls for if possible. 12x10=120 24×10=240 Using the highest voltage the amp calls for will be more efficient and allow you to use the tb21 to its full potential

@@bagusabc4361 the AS21 seems too bassy in the stereo channels, like it's just bass boosted and not enough input voltage to be able to produce rated power. The HT21 sounds cleaner and can utilize more volume while sounding clearer, in my opinion

first of all you have to throw this whole video away cause you aint even using a good, high amperage power supply, do it again but connect it to like a drill battery if you dont have any lithium cells laying around

ez you can run about 180w on the sub but with a 36v 10a power supply, i have connected 2 subwoofers, 80w total with a 15v 3a and sound pretty good

I use a 36v 11a supply at home. I suggest you buy both amps and try for yourself. The HT21 is the better amplifier all around.

You may have a faulty unit. Are you using aux or Bluetooth? Does it sound the same with either?

what chip is in this amplifier ht21 tpa3255 or tda7948 ?
HT21 uses the tda7498 chip.
The AS21 has two options, the tpa3255 or tpa3251, which are more or less the same chips as far as I know.
