Thank you for posting this. It brings back good memories. I did this traverse in early August 1965, age nearly fifteen, middle of the rope between two excellent Dutch climbers. It was my first summit in the Alps. Needless to say, our equipment was primitive compared to nowadays standards. Nobody thought about wild camping in those days either. We started in La Forclaz at 5.30 am and the climb ended at midnight in an army dormitory in the barrage of Lac de Moiry! I remember some pitches you filmed on the descent very well, the rock was not quite reliable and as a result. we were much slower than expected. Mind you, in those days we traversed more pitches. Rappelling down was risky on a single rope :).
